Guess you saw the same comments I did about the Reddit poll. Since you made the OG Reddit poll, I'll ask the mods to go ahead and close mine. My bad

I much prefer your poll because the answers don't have the flavor text and the poll is anonymous. I won't vote in this poll.

I didn't know there was an anonymous option nor that people preferred it. I wonder if I can edit it to be anonymous now?
-Edit- It does not seem possible. So unless a Mod can change it, it will not be anonymous. I don't think anyone is going to harass people for having the less popular opinion or something for this, but I guess I can't guarantee that,
I'm waiting to see how the season passes work. I know we've had a mini preview version on the PTS but like login rewards and endeavours I expect the real version to change over time. It might be an improvement, it might be worse, or it might be basically the same thing with a different UI.
I didn't mind login rewards once they stopped putting the best items right at the end of the month. I always missed at least a few days, sometimes a week or more and nothing ZOS could do would change that because I couldn't, and wouldn't want to, put a game ahead of travelling for work and to see my family. So I always missed some but it wasn't anything that mattered so I didn't feel pressured to go out of my way to get them. The only times it bothered me was early on when ZOS seemed to assume if they put a unique or valuable reward at the end we'd all cancel plans to be at home every day, which is clearly absurd. Even then it only bothered me because people in my guilds were talking about what "everyone" got and I kept having to explain I was staying quiet because I didn't get it. But like I said once they moved them earlier and stopped including unique items it wasn't a problem and I was indifferent to the system.
I actually liked endeavours because again I never felt pressured to do ones I didn't want to, if I thought they were boring I'd just skip them, and sometimes it prompted me to do things I hasn't done in a while and would have fun with. I'm not a big PvP fan but don't mind the odd battleground match and endeavours were one thing that prompted me to play them.
But that's the part which sounds like it's coming back rebranded as a season pass and with a cost attached if you want all the rewards. As I said it might be an improvement, depending on the tasks involved and scheduling, but I'm surprised so many people are acting like the situation we have now is the new normal and going to last forever. Even now they've thrown in a golden pursuit to make sure we have some sort of checklist to look at until the new system starts. Like endeavours I'll do those if I'm online and I feel like it and skip them if not, and I hope to be able to do the same with season passes, but I'm confused that some people are talking about it as if the game has removed all FOMO mechanics forever. (Also 3 of 4 topics I can find about it were started by the same person, so I'm not sure if it's lots of people having strong opinions or one very enthusiastic person prompting responses from people killing time on the forum.)

Similar to OP, even if some of us "did not care" or played every day anyway so e were not impacted much. It does not stop us from listening to how many of our community were harmed by it, and thus also not want it so we can be healthier as a collective. That is why I am primarily happy its dead.
not for me, for my fellow ESO players and friends who it stressed, caused sadness or even made them quit.
There are still plenty of 'things' left on a daily timer in the game.
Happy to see that these two (login rewards and endeavours) no longer are.

This might be the first time i do not mind extra text in poll options. They seem accurate enough.
As i said before, i like that Daily Login Rewards and Daily Endeavours are going away.
i am looking forward to Tamriel Tomes

Understood, I did very much so want them to be "strong" in the sense of like "This is the action and sentiment you will be voting for" to get the most dedicated and fervent positions on the matter.
I felt
"I am glad Login rewards and endeavors are gone"
&
"I miss login rewards and endeavors"
Actually kind of downplayed the impacts they had, and there has also been a very massive misunderstanding with many people thinking ZoS "removed content" with this move. And Writing them very vague or bare, felt as though it played into that. I did actually write them more bland at first, and made an intentional decision to have voters "take a stand" instead if you will.

i think in the end it's not going to be a huge difference (in the wording). even with the ppl saying "i'm not voting." if you look at this one -vs- spartaxoxo's, the results are very close

robertlabrie wrote: »You poisoned the well with your "FOMO deadline" wording but for me the daily endeavor was a reason to login. One less reason now.
See, I thought most of the daily rewards were pretty useless, and it would be nice to not feel like I have to do the daily and weekly endeavors, but I actually do miss them. And also, as a never-PvPer, the daily rewards were my only source of alliance points and Tel-Var, which allowed me to purchase dawn prism and hakeijo when needed. The golden pursuit doesn't offer these as rewards, though.

Indeed, and it's petty of OP to create options like this to insult those who liked aspects of daily login rewards.
I already only logged in for daily rewards when there was something special I really wanted. It was a nice way to get cosmetics while not having to play artificially - all I had to do is log in and then I could quest, roleplay, or do housing as I want.
Now it seems I'll have to do a list of chores for the same rewards, and I'm not interested.
