What Companion do you want to see next?

They shouldn't add more to the system, until they fix it's targeting. Fix things, then milk.

None. Before they add new companions, they should improve the existing ones. The combat AI, how you can interact with them, etc.

A daedric companion would be pretty neat. Having a totally unique morality and rapport system. They could be a summoner and have a perk that makes scamps and banekin neutral to your character.

Orc, Nord, or Bosmer, we really need any and all.

Preferably one that is an archetype of their race and not completely opposed to everything that has ever been presented about it in Lore. Outliers are fine and dandy, but when we only get one (if that) of each race as a Companion I'd sure rather have one that didn't try so desperately hard to break the mold, just for the sake of difference.

Don't give me a peacenik Orc or a vegan Bosmer.

This is the most important for me--getting the remaining three races--with the next companions we get.

I'm still so disappointed that the Altmer we get hates the mages and the Mages Guild... Like... Why design the Altmer that way...

Non human companions and the ability to make them wear helmets would be wonderful.
Can you imagine a minotaur tank?
And seeing companion following others or seeing multiple of the same togheter is terribly immersion breaking. Make them wear helmets!

One that doesn't try so hard to subvert expectations and just acts like a typical member of their race. Bosmer, Ork or Nord since we haven't had one of those yet.

I don't primarily see companions as (more or less effective) aids in combat, but rather as story content. Accordingly, I'm happy about every new companion and sincerely hope we get more this year. I also wish that our existing companions would be expanded with new quests and new dialogue.

I already have what I need from companions but looking at some of the responses here: Nord Werewolf (like Hildegard) and Bosmer Vampire (like Gwendis) I think would be nice!

(I'd really like to be able to customize more the appearance of all companions btw)

    None, thank you very much.

I have eight companions. Five of them are fully outfitted with weapons, armor and jewelry. Two of the five I use mostly.

Three of my alts I hate and despise and never use them and never upgrade their common level items. If I could delete them, I would.

If I could get a Companion that would actually come to my home, yes, I mean my IRL home, and vacuum and dust weekly, then I would accept that Companion.

    Thank you very much.

A dog or some sort of pet. No talking, just happy to be with us and we can pet them or feed them.

Some fun ideas in here but this is what I want the most. I love the dog banker but I think it would be so fun to have a dog companion with a quest line (there are pets in other quests so it is not that ridiculous of an idea.). The dog could periodically whine and bark and yip, or stand and point at nodes, and do a few things like this that would make them feel more like a pet than the pets, and most importantly, they could join the battle with you which neither the banker nor the non combat pets could do!

Also, though, I would prefer to see improvements to the companion system before getting new companions. Most important: Improve their AI so they don't stand in ground dots. Fix that issue that only is avoided with the ice staff. Make the older companions as powerful as the newer ones. Make it so the companions can carry some spare companion gear. Change the trait system because the cost to buy a good piece of gear with the right trait is truly ridiculous. Add new stories for the companions (imo, preferably non romantic ones because I don't want all of my companions trying to get with me!).
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

We already have 8 companions, fully filling the 8 slots we have on the wheel for them.

Unless ZoS give us a second wheel, I've zero interest in adding more because I've zero room to slot them.

That seems like a silly reason. Do you really cycle through 8 different companions on one character?

Ceasing production of a popular feature because you would need to pick and choose on a UI menu is a bit silly.

If they add more Companions PLEASE make the unlocks account wide. I didn't get the last 2 even though they were free with ESO plus. This was partly because I just didn't like them and partly because I hate unlocking them multiple times.

Bosmer, orc and nord, companions of races we are missing. Think we should have one of each, before we go for nonplayable races.

After those I'd love a Reachfolk companion and an actual Imperial. As much as I like Bastian, he's the most breton that has ever bretoned, and even was called a breton some time before release so imo we don't really an imperial. I think I have the opposite view of what ZOS wants companions to be, becaue they seem to love making companions who are all quirky, nontraditional, and go far against the cultural norm of their race. I actually want companions who are part of their race's culture first, and when that's done we can get unusual and quirky.

If we finally get a bosmer and they are not a Green Pact following one from Valenwood, but some vegetarian snob from High Rock, I will frankly get mad. Also don't want another cutsey and quicky female bosmer, nor a comic relief. I want a weirdly humoured little carnivore elf who enjoys thieving and smoke bugs, or something like it.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

I've so many different characters that I need to standardise their setups somewhat to so I know what I'm doing on each one.
DPS always have their spamables, executes, and emergency self heals on the same buttons.
Tanks always have pulls, taunts and emergency self heals on the same buttons.
Healers always have the burst heal on the same button.

I can just press the appropriate button and get the desired result without looking away from whats in front of me to check my setup on that toon.

    The wheels are similarly standardised.
I don't need to look to know which button is food, cheap potion for overland, good quality potion for real content, cosmetic toggle, or banker/merchant/armory summon on any given toon, its the same standardised setup on all of them.
Same deal for my tank/healer/ranged dps/melee dps companion summons.

ZoS can make more companions if they want,I ain't gonna stop them.
But if they don't add another wheel to go with 'em, I ain't gonna use 'em.
