No, there are no werewolf changes for this patch.

iirc that's June's patch, so it'd be in the next PTS.

Aaah, coulda sworn the graphic included WW balance changes and stuff along with the DK refresh, but ah well, I can wait. At least it's finally happening soon lol.

I can't wait for next PTS. I have high hopes for the visual & combat update for Werewolf, given what we've seen for Two Handed and Dragonknight this patch.

At least we'll have the QoL improvements for getting or curing Werewolf next patch! Maybe by Update 50 we'll have considerably more people who have tried Werewolf and want to share their thoughts on the rework. I can only imagine Update 50 will bring in several new Werewolf players, which will be exciting.

I liked playing WW even after a couple of patches nerfing it over and over, until finally it just reached a spot where it wasn't worth playing any more. I too cannot wait and I probably shouldn't be getting my hopes up too much but MAN I really hope they don't do WW dirty yet again.

I guess even if they still suck for combat at least they'll look nicer XD.

Same I want it to be good be comparable on par with a similarly geared non transformed. My concern is that the increases will be overshadowed by the non transformed skills and the power difference doesn’t change.

I am so excited, I cannot wait to test next cycle. It feels like at least after years of seemingly having feedback ignored, we’ve actually been heard.

Here’s to hoping the results meet the expectations. Especially with the fiasco where we received nerfs essentially so we could haphazardly taunt in-kit.

I'm very interested in how this werewolf refresh will play out, as I have a werewolf character whose wolf form was mostly only delegated to giving free bites to players. If they give the ability to sneak and all the other stuff WW is missing, I'd be more than happy! Even if I wouldn't return, I'm excited for all the other werewolf players.

I believe there are only visual adjustments.

I don't remember them stating there would be a werewolf rework.

I don't really play my werewolf much. What makes you say that an entire rework is needed as opposed to a few changes?

The roadmap says we are getting a visual refresh and balance updates:
    zdsjxadkyrv2.jpg

Werewolf desperately needs a rework in several areas. For instance, there are several things that Werewolf lacks that it should have some capacity to do — such as the ability to crossheal, the ability to place siege (they can currently only use it), the ability to sneak, appearance cosmetics, and access to Scribing (sourced from their own Grimoire).

Several things about Werewolf don't make sense. Terrified isn't worth casting Ferocious Roar for, Claws of Life is near useless outside of PvE, the main spammable is a projectile of sound that can be reflected back at you, and you can be at no less than 100% Health if you want a damage buff from burning Magicka on Hircine's Rage (with no ability to gain Magicka except from passive regeneration).

Several things were taken away from Werewolf without explanation, like the snare applied from Pack Leader dire wolves. Werewolf has no snare in their toolkit now, and they also can't cleanse snares applied to themselves, either — their unique speed buff is useless. Werewolf also lost their heal over time, as both morphs of their heal scale off of Max Health. Werewolf's unique mitigation was replaced with Major Resolve, yet they can't source Minor Resolve (meaning they're weaker than everyone else who can easily source it).

My hope for the rework is that some of these pain points (and several more not mentioned here) are adjusted. Werewolf absolutely needed the visual adjustment to the model — the difference in gender is a nice touch, too — but I also hope the abilities and SFX are also touched up. Piercing Howl and Roar share the same SFX, and Infectious Claws and Carnage share the same animation. Hopefully we get a proper biting attack at some point, too.
