I literally never said anything about putting a House behind "sweaty" content though? YOU were the one that brought up putting Houses behind harder content, so I'm a bit confused about claiming it's extreme that I brought something up because of an opinion. I wasn't doing that either, I was giving an anecdote about how people won't typically do harder content no matter what's behind it. And I also never said or implied that endgame content shouldn't have rewards tied to doing it, so...

Hold up... I was the one who only referred to group and/or harder content (harder as in not solo friendly easy content).

You're the one who made claims of content being unachievable, using a Trifecta Hard Mode example to suit the narrative.

If a person wants to get paid, they have to put in the work. That's how it's supposed to be.

    It's a game, not work. 😏

So you think ZOS should just give everyone every reward available in game for doing nothing then.

The eso-hub page on the Night Market says the following:

The zone is designed primarily for experienced players, offering a bridge between casual overland content and end-game activities such as Trials and Arenas.

So to me this means that it's going to be tuned between overland and normal trials. I would bet the average player will be able to x into a group and have a good experience. They could probably utilize the group finder or join a guild to have an even better experience.

I think the reward of a house is intentional because ZOS wants to transition its casual players into more gameplay related activities instead of fetch quests.

I don't recall saying that. I said more along the lines games are supposed to be relaxing and fun, if you're approaching a game like it's "work", then you're doing it wrong.

Besides, I thought the "😏" made it clear it was not supposed to be taken overly seriously.

Just wanted to pop in and confirm the Night's Den home is unlocked very early in the Night Market during one of the first quests and is very accessible. There will be additional things you can unlock that require completion of more difficult content, but the house itself can be obtained fairly easily.

So essentially the same concept as the Hall of the Lunar Champion. Very good to know, and great to hear! Tyvm.

    Thank you for the confirmation!

I'd love to be able to unlock the whole house, but this is a reasonable compromise being housing nerds/filthy casuals like me and those who want to be rewarded for hard content I think.

I get the feeling the whole house is unlocked and the upgrades are other things. I'm basing this on the PTS entry:
Night's Den: The Night Market provides vast opportunities, including a former bank vault in need of a new owner. Hoard your wealth – and your faction's secrets – inside. Plus decorate your den with faction furnishings as you gain favor with your chosen group!

They definitely said on the stream it comes with a banker, not just a space for one, so I'm guessing the banker is one of the upgrades

Interesting comparison between this new house and the Elsweyr house. The first part wasn’t much in terms of real estate and the additions were…awkward to say the least. I always appreciate a free house, we’ll see.

I have a long standing theory that the Lunar Champion house was just cobbled together with whatever was laying around at the time they decided to add it to the game. The main house is rather drab, and doesn't really mesh well with the rest of the zone. And then the added wings seem to be a disjointed mish mash of additions.

I could be wrong (I often am). But that's the feeling I've always experienced with that house.
