I was scared that this would be how they did it. People don't need random maps stackable, they usually want to target maps in specific zones (for leads or something), so now having them unopened doesn't help in the slightest.twisttop138 wrote: »tomofhyrule wrote: »spartaxoxo wrote: »You can respec directly from character sheet/skill screen for free. Champion points not included due to time constraints but may look at in the future. Kira, the player experience improvements lead also wants champion points to be faster and easier to reassign.
Currently no limitations on outside of stuff like in-combat but they don't want people to feel the need to constantly respec in-between encounters. So, they may add restrictions to respec to dungeons/trials/etc but right now there's no plan to do so. They don't want this to be a micromanaging runs thing.
This scares me a bit.
People are already at the point where they're micromanaging your skill lines in high-level content. There's no way that free respecs won't lead to even more micromanaging toxicity.
Something to think about. Though we've left the trial to respec or use the armory assistant.
True, but now even that opportunity cost is gone.
For treasure maps, I think the major pain point was bad RNG for leads and other stuff. Not how they stack. But hey, if we pile enough Qol...
For the opportunity cost, you're very right. Im fortunate in my raid teams, there isn't really any toxicity or hard core micromanaging. I can see this being a problem.
I think the point is a lot of people don't bother with maps at all, and would find ourselves having a good amount of inventory taken by them, and regularly destroying them since we can't share them was annoying. Now it's one slot I can ignore until I'm ready to deal with them.
Indeed. I destroy all base game and many dlc zone maps. So, cool I guess. Just saying, as with the antiquity leads times, that hasn't been the complaint really.

Respec scrolls will be sellable for gold at vendors. Have also stop selling them for crowns. There will also be bonus sourcing until this change occurs. You can keep them for your memory if you want or sell them for gold. Can still use them now
Did they say if subclassing will be included in the free respecs?
It mean i can show my title and guild name same time or not?spartaxoxo wrote: »Will be able to add a guild nameplate to your title so you can rep a guild without the tabbard. Tabbard will override choice of nameplate. Per character basis.
This was a fulfillment from guild summit

Yeah but now instead of buying the specific map you need for 20k you'll have to buy 100 for 2k to maybe get the one you want. Then you'll have 99 slots of rubbish you have to deal with

Though it's still nice for some of us that have been silently suffering with unstackable inventory issues - especially for things that plop our inventory like maps or the surveys that they already fixed.
It wasn't serious enough that I wanted to crusade against it, but even this small thing is appreciated for someone like me.

IDK looked like you could. Guildname plate was a separate menu option so I would assume it works similar to the tabbard but without having to wear it.

Ah, never mind. Looks like it actually is being done right.
Removal of the "unique" flag was legit all that people needed for that.

I haven't checked the Patch Notes yet, but I thought they showed unknown treasure maps in the stream? If they're still doing that in addition to removing the "unique" flag on the known maps, that will be an awesome win-win scenario!

Yes, they're doing both.
As well as that, you won't now consume a map just digging it up. It won't go until you open the chest
