I pre-ordered the Standard Content Pass because I owned everything else, and wanted to support ZOS in their new direction.
As much as I love new regions of the map to be explored, ESO has been severely lacking in updates to it’s existing “systems” and 2025 was supposed to be the year where everything got proper support, but since the end of 2024, we haven’t seen any meaningful changes to our activities.
All of the in-game guilds have languished, and are in desperate need of something… and I’m not talking rewards. As great as it is to have awesome rewards for activities, the real reward has to BE the activity itself. If Heists, Sacraments, or Fighter’s/Mage’s guild dailies are dreadfully boring, we’re just going to hate ZOS while we’re farming them.
I just want to have fun playing the game, but nothing has changed in years.

I agree with you but minor correction they did tell us 2025 was a transition year ahead of time. It's 2026 that is supposed to be the big shift, iirc. I'm not optimistic about it after seeing the event, personally. So I share your feelings on the current way things are going. But I also think it's worth mentioning in all fairness that this warned ahead of time as a year of transition.
I still worried that will turn out to mean "we were already making a new zone and story so we released that instead of scrapping it, in future it will be a standard 'season pass' model with only tempoary additions to existing content".
