~ 40 dollars for a mount.

Which is still better than 50, or an unknown amount hidden behind gamble. Let a man be happy XD

No worries, I was just trying to calibrate myself. The prices are crazy across the entire industry and we are getting so used to it. But inside this universe, I agree, the price seems almost reasonable.

Fair enough lol. I got happy because I got funding from PS Stars ending in my wallet (PlayStation users only who signed up for it before it ended) and points I had totally forgot about accumulated. So, I got some 5 dollar PlayStation store gift cards, a crown sale, and cool stuff in the crown store happening right now. 😀

(now to get a werewolf transformation Skill Style that actually makes him a werebear as well)
As much as I like the mammoth mount and snow bear skin and applaud the devs who created these, I’m a little bit baffled by a thread thanking ZOS for selling a mount for a higher price than a chapter and a combat pet skin that’s just 200 crowns shy of the price of a smaller DLC.

Gonna need the Pack Leader morph to make the "Werewolf Transformation, Werebear" Skill Style have white fur to complete that look. The Werewolf Berserker werebear can then have black fur, and the unmorphed Werewolf Transformation werebear look can have brown (it's brown, not grey) fur.

See, I'm at the point that I want them to divorce fur color from morph style. If we're trying to say "oh, in PvP you need to know if it's Pack Leader or not!" well, just see if it has pets following it.
Being able to have a black Pack Leader, or a brown Berserker would be a really good way to help with customization.
(And yes, my werebear is supposed to be a russet like the OG Warden bear. His BFF is just the white one)

I just want to use any fur color currently in the game on Werewolf. I want the grey fur that NPCs have, not this brown fur that players have:
It's obvious which morph of the ability this is. There should be no problem telling this apart from the other two versions of the ability.
Then I'd like to have some other variations like a "Werewolf Transformation, Whiterun Guard" Skill Style to add tattered clothing in the style of a Whiterun Guard, with a "Whiterun Guard" Costume for use in the human form. You couldn't combine it with the other Skill Styles though, so you don't get to choose your fur color and then what clothing your werewolf form has, so maybe a more robust system than Skill Styling should be implemented.
As for other werebeasts, there should be several variations with different alterations. For instance, "Werewolf Transformation, Brown Werebear" makes all morphs into a brown werebear, and "Werewolf Transformation, Snow Werebear" makes all morphs into a white werebear not too dissimilar from the new Feral Guardian Skill Style.

Yeah, it would be really great if we could choose our own colors. Werewolf has so little customization, and in a game as RP-heavy as ESO, the lack of customization is definitely a hindrance to a lot of peoples' enjoyment of it.
(well, that and their complete lack of power, but you know...)
I know that "monetization" is a dirty word, especially in this economy, but I'd completely be okay with premium werewolf variants (like a brown werebear, pls) to come through the store. However, I do think the base three werewolf colors should be given freely since we do technically already have access to those depending on which morph we choose (or lack thereof).
Also I hate the idea of needing to keep a skill unmorphed just to make a character look... closer to what they should look like. Like I said, my dude is supposed to be a brown werebear... but all I can do with him is the unmorphed werewolf since he definitely is neither black nor white, so the base color is the best I can do (and while it may not be the cold grey of NPC wolves, it's definitely still closer to grey than a rich brown).
The fact that people seem to unironicle think these are fine prices in times of inflation and crisises and are publicly encouraging zos for the price scaling, makes me look forward for the next coming overpriced items.
Back in the days a GAME costed 40 dollar, now people are willed to pay that for a cosmetic.
Dont think, just consume and get excited for the next product.
