New Poll Arm skill

There is a new thread around here asking if there will be new classes or races, and the first thing that pops into my head is that a new skill line is much more possible. But what new skill line, tho?

For me, I would like to see a new weapon skill line about pole arms (for my Redguard).

Since the mods do not like reviving old threads, here is the list of old threads that I did not revive:

i would love more weapons, same as i would love a Dwemer Artificer class and Maormer race, they are all 3 different things. and all equally possible.

Pole arms, spears, or halberds would undoubtedly require lots of Weapon Styles to be created for the weapon. Which ZOS has mentioned as a reason for not doing it.

Beyond classes, would it be possible to add new weapon skill lines? I believe that's something Elder Scrolls Online still hasn't done.

I mean, anything is possible in the future. We're going on nine years now. We didn't have many of the things in the game now when we launched. New weapons and weapons skill lines are difficult, though, as we'd have to do a lot of art. There are a hundred different motifs in the game and they all have weapons associated with them. If we added a new weapon, we would have to add that to all of them. That's just one small consideration to think about that. It would be a huge undertaking.

But of course they can do that in updates after adding the new weapon.
i assume if ZOS wants to add new weapons they are potentially already working it and won't tell us until it's near completion.

And yes we are nerds, you found and listed 24 old threads about Pole Arms/Spears and i looked up a specific article to find a quote from 2 years ago.

Now that ZOS's literal only focus is ESO, since their other MMO was canned, I'm hoping we see some more content like this. Would be great.

I'm guessing you obv know that they were planning a spear skill line and it ended up as the Templar's aedric spear line, absolutely 0% chance they replace aedric spear and make spears a weapon line instead

Also I don't there they will be adding any new actual weapons as that would force them to go back and add to previous motifs/styles/set/drop tables, which is why "one handed and magic" or "unarmed" are the only possible weapon skill lines I think we could still get
