CONSOLE RELEASE XP BONUS?

Will console players get the xp bonus PC players received when the new season launches tomorrow, jun 18th? Seems obvious we would, but people are saying all kinds of things.

I'd guess no, since the bonus wasn't really tied to the PC release and was its own weekend event (that just happened to overlap with u46 on PC for about a day).

It would've made a lot more sense to me if they waited till u46 was live for everyone and then did an XP weekend.

well at least Solstice has a 10% xp bonus for the entire year.

PC players needed the bonus to bug test for the console release :P

but in all seriousness there is another event soon I think based on the calendar they released.

there's Zeal of Zenithar starting June 26, but that does not have an xp buff. it only boosts crafting inspiration (unless i overlooked a change to the event).

You never need an XP boost lol, they're nice. I'd appreciate one personally since I just recently restarted on PS5-NA. It's virtually objectively never a net negative..

No, there will not be an XP bonus. The XP bonus was due to a mini-event overlapping with launch by a day. Console also got that same XP bonus event during the same timeframe. We understand it isn't exactly the same as having it during launch content. That's just how the calendar shook out during planning.

That kinda sucks for console, though. Because subclassing involves a lot of skill leveling, it was very advantageous to have that "overlap", and as someone on PC, it feels kinda unfair that we got that "overlap" and console is just left out to dry.

Don't think anyone would complain if you ran an Explorers Event this weekend (or just 50%+ XP.)

Subclassing is a grind and PC got to have the additional XP for a day during the levelling process. This would help the console players and I don't think PC would complain about the bonus, either.

It did only overlap for like, less than a day on PC-NA, which also did feel bad, but it was better than nothing.
Would've been nice if it had been planned better all around.

No, I don't really need it myself. Approaching mac level so it doesn't really matter to me. Others like you may need it, that's OK too.

No, I don't really need it myself. Approaching mac level so it doesn't really matter to me. Others like you may need it, that's OK too.

I'm on PC I was away when the bonus/update dropped, I generally don't worry about xp bonuses BUT I have to say as someone who hates grinding too subclassing is a real grind to level....

Needless to say I am still working on my first skill line!!

Thats very underwhelming to hear and not fair to the console players.
Why just dont add another exp event on the day when subclassing is released on console?

Please clearify this because I'm can't understand why this was planned that poorly or even not planned.
