Pretty much. They know exactly what they're doing, and the sort of reactions it'll get.El_Borracho wrote: »Then again, maybe they think that is the real endgame.

Saw someone this weekend where that was ALL they did. Like he/she was the cheerleader of the DC. Saw them once die, get rezzed, then run over and teabag someone.
It made me look back on the last few weeks and I don't think I've seen a player who either registered the kill or played a role in the kill teabag the victim. Its always someone who fled the scene or watched from the cheap seats.
If you're going to celebrate the kill like its your first time in Cyrodiil, at least play.

most likely its a bait to get you banned, in my exp when people like that t bag you they are trying to get you to t bag them back... in which case they and their buddies report you and then you get perma banned.
seen it happen at least 20 times
Yep exactly. This is the problem with having no functional enforcement system and putting it all on the players to police themselves, inevitably you end up with crap like this. I don't even know how to make a video, let alone maintain video surveillance on everything going on around me in case of malicious shenanigans.cuddles_with_wroble wrote: »most likely its a bait to get you banned, in my exp when people like that t bag you they are trying to get you to t bag them back... in which case they and their buddies report you and then you get perma banned. seen it happen at least 20 times
The stated policy from ZOS is that they have no way to prove there has been a violation unless video evidence is provided, so normal report tickets probably aren't going to do anything.joshisanonymous wrote: »Don't do it. Report people who do do it.
Just because you don't understand why they are T-Bagging people they did not kill doesn't mean that its without merit, and that is doesn't have deep meanings possibly steeped in the history of builds or actions that are beyond you to fathom.

This is one of the funniest things I have read on this site.

you changed the wording in my comment.
not only embarrassing to me but also inappropriate, and against the forum rules and TOS.
it is re-portable but i will not report it. as it is trivial, and leads to prove what my main comment began with. and also what is the entire result of being T-bagged.
humans simply do not retain full understanding of situations and actions even here as we see ingame with something as said "trivial" as T-bagging.

hmm, seems there was a 2nd excerpt even though it was predicted there would not be ...El_Borracho wrote: »Just because you don't understand why they are T-Bagging people they did not kill doesn't mean that its without merit, and that is doesn't have deep meanings possibly steeped in the history of builds or actions that are beyond you to fathom.

Once or twice a week, after a fight where I have to quickly go to another one far away, and I'm next to a dead enemy, and I can't mount because the game thinks I'm in combat, so I go to stealth and wait for the eye to close, and then pop back up and try to mount again. It seems to work about one third of the time.
I worry that the other person thinks I'm doing the tea bag thing. Last time I did it, I moved a few steps away to let them know, but I'm not sure if that communicates my intent. And sometimes, I am not fast enough to realize I am doing my cannot-mount-work-around on top of a dead body.
I don't mind it done to myself, and I understand that less mature people derive pleasure from it, so I do not fault them for it either. But I am also aware that it bother the more sensitive folks, so I don't want to cause them that distress either.
In sort, reduce the cannot-mount-while-in-combat timer. Or, just remove the limitation. Mounting a horse in combat has got to be more suicidal than trying to swim in combat, right?

(Queue the "you must be real fun at parties" jokes and such. And if it's a party where sexual assault is considered "fun", then you're right, I'm not a joy to be around at those.)
Yea there's plenty of friendly joke bagging, but there's also plenty of malicious harrassment. And you can't say it doesn't at least vaguely resemble a simulated sex act, you've got one character sitting on another's face...cuddles_with_wroble wrote: »THATS the intended way t bagging is meant to be handled, its supposed to promote friendly rivalry in competitive scenarios

Right now we have the worst of both worlds, where enforcement exists, but isn't applied fairly. It would be more fair if they either didn't enforce bagging at all (okay idea), or had a zero-tolerance policy (less okay idea).
We know that because we know the players, but the people doing the enforcement don't, and probably have no way of knowing who a friend or random jerk, whether a video was taken in good faith or set as a malicious trap...cuddles_with_wroble wrote: »the thing is tho its REALLY obv when someone is being malicious about it and when they arent. if someone is constantly running you down and t bagging you and youve done nothing to them than thats just them being toxic, but if you have a close fight or a ganker/bomber fails to kill you and dies and then you give em a quick bag thats all in good fun
