For the record, the content does not disappear for seasons of the worm cult. You just get the parts at different times. But the content you can still take at your pace once it is live.
But didn't they say in the stream that the stories do go away, but come back during a remix?
In the post show, they just confirmed that you will own the content for Seasons of the Worm Cult.

Maybe I'm missing something but it looks like we're expected to pay over double the cost of a chapter for this season pass, and I'm not seeing that we'll be getting over double the content. Unless ESO+ is included and I missed that, then I'm sorry, but ESO is going to be out of my price range.
Normally, you would be paying for the chapter and Q4 DLC depending on the year. The content pass includes all dungeon content this year, so you do not need to purchase them individually.
I find it really unfair to acknowledge that someone is only allowed to mention what they're told they can, and then also yell at them for not saying more than they're allowed to. Kevin doesn't dictate what he gets to share with us. If you want to yell at someone, yell at the people who control what the mods can tell us and not the messengers who have no control over what they're allowed to share. As my eso+ will end in around 43days i would like to know more about the changes in prices so i can make a good desision.
@ZOS_Kevin , you've been dancing around this topic and its starting to feel disrespectful. I'm sure you were told to not mention it, but its not going to just go away. Please address the fact that ESO+ is going to be a rip off with the current plan. (And if your response is the corpo-speak "we think we deliver tremendous value", my head is going to explode, so please keep my cranium intact by giving a real answer.)
Edit: And no, linking to the "FAQ", which is really a CAQ (conveniently asked questions) doesn't count as an answer either.
He didn't say it would 100% be opt-in. He said it's the priority to make it opt in and it "most probably" will be, but not that it is going to be for sure.allochthons wrote: »FWIW, the post-game show did mention that any theoretical increase in overland difficulty will be opt-in.

If I had previously made an arcanist character and leveled up all their class skills to 50, but I've already deleted that character, when the new update comes will I have access to those arcanist skills, or will I need to level those up again?
I'm excited for the new content and quality-of-life changes, but I feel like it's time to rethink the price model of ESO. I was shocked by the price of the Season Pass which, as someone else has pointed out, really just feels like a rebranded chapter, only parceled out more slowly. It wouldn't be so shocking if the game were easier to play without ESO+, but without it, it's mostly inventory management. I'm having a hard time justifying paying for ESO+ (mainly for craft bag and now for furnishing vault) on top of the yearly cost of a season. It just feels very steep to pay the price of a AAA game on top of a subscription, and it kills a lot of excitement I have for any of the updates to this game.
Any chance for a third cheaper purchase option for the content pass that excludes the DLC dungeons from the bundle not all of us want them or at least not to own permanently, since it screws up the option of being able to exclude the DLC dungeons from group finder when un subscribed to ESO+.
I would imagine that's probably still a concern due to the potential for additional database/performance issues. I want more furnishing slots too, but there's no doubt that more furnishings means more data, which means a chunkier and more sluggish database, and that's clearly a major bugbear when it comes to overall game performance.
