    Good points. I'd love to say, "Wait and see how they do it," but for those of us who love magica builds, "hybridization" has been should-never-have-been-allowed-anywhere-near-the-game levels of bad. I can't imagine ZOS could do this in a way that doesn't lead to way more homogenization.

    scribing was great, it's a pity that it stopped developing. No matter how this thing is implemented, a lot of variability is always good.I hope there will be no need to go through any infantile quest.

    From a solo and casual raiding perspective I could see it being a lot of fun, good and interesting.
    From an MMO and balance perspective I could see it being anywhere from bad to appalling.

    All damage dealers will now be Arc beam 100->40, plar beam 40->0 with DK standard for an ult

    I would agree except I kinda expect we'll see massive nerfs as part of this.

    I have some feel think we can rip beam and sorc shield in next pts..

    Pretty sure I somehow missed the main Reveal, even though they clearly put on Discord that it was today *at 8pm my time*, but whatever.

    I'm still watching whatever this is and hoping they'll talk about this Subclassing feature, but depending on how it's handled, I am actually really really eager for it. Assuming it's not limited at all, it does in a way basically remove classes from the game without actually doing so, allowing for totally free character set up like the mainline TES games.

    I'm not really looking forward to this. There's classes for a reason, and taking skills from other classes will basically kill what little identity there is left. PvP balance is going to be totally ruined

    Yeah... I am not sure if this thing will be healthy for the game at all. And it is not just cloak. Every class will have access to same things... So DK (which was never meant to be mobile) will streak away. There are most likely even more broken combos that people will figure out. Like for example NB Teleport + Warden gate. Or NB bow proc hunting curse + sorc execute etc. It is like opening a pandora box... unless there will be some limitation of some skills being considered "core class skills" and will stay as class exclusive. But even if, it all will all allow to make one super-class.

    What is a point of a class then ? It will just encourage ZOS to make each class to have 1 good skill only, so you would have to grind & combine 3 different class trees into one. And worst part is that the result will be that it will just even more gate end-game behind additional grind (and possibly pay walls). So the result will be just one meta hybrid class.

    The cool thing is that all the skillines will be unlocked if you already unlocked them with alts. Which is pretty great. There is no real use for alts now unless you want to replay some stories or just like regrinding progress bars. They still will be great mules though.

    Well atleast we now have a final date on the nerf sorc threads.

    Everyone in pvp is 100% guaranteed to run Stormcalling. We already saw this with other pvp mmo releases where they had a streak like ability and everyone used it.

    While your main point may be true for the small number of players obsessed with chasing the meta builds, that was always true of class change tokens which those players wanted. It does, however, offer far greater choice and variety to the remaining large number of players, and it will also prove a massive draw both to departed and new players.

    Amazing, now pvp would have sorcs streaking into cloack and nightblades with ward…

    Perhaps this means they are going to push Champions/Vengence to be the focus of pvp, making subclassing not apply to it.

    Subclass skills and passives need to be weaker, and be disabled in PvP. The current answer ZOS gave to address concerns for class identity was not a good one. It was only "You can still play all content without subclassing" and "Finally play how you want". I can foresee players getting gated in group content for not subclassing because they refused to do so. Why willingly prevent yourself from having massive cleave and an extra 30k+ ST damage? You're willingly being detrimental to the team even if you already have high DPS with only your class.

    I don't think it's going to change much for folk that were already saying that you can only be X class in endgame number pushing content. Same with PVP
