How to use bots

Proposal:
Have a special reporting tab for bots, any bot reported and proven to be a bot, earns a player 100 gold into a special account only for that player. Any faulty report removes 200 gold from that account, it can go as low as 0 gold.
Once a month, or week, pay out these gold pots to players.
This way, players can choose to make 'bot hunting' a profession, and it should make the life of a bot slightly more difficult.
Needless to say, the gold from a report goes to the first person that has reported the bot, there could also be a system placed where one but can't be reported multiple times.

Loxy37✭✭✭✭No. Leave it to Zenimax. They seem to be dragging their heels but I suspect they have a master plan that waiting to net as many botters as they can in one fowl swoop. If you give people power, they abuse it, see Banker and Politicians for more info!

i guess reporting bots is not the problem, but it seems to take forever until they get banned0

REPORTING ISN'T THE PROBLEM, most players are happy to but ZOS make it a PITA to do and the results we see is for all the reports and all ZOS' spin the problem is WORSE THAN EVER.
tdl;dr: reporting ISN'T the problem, ZOS's total failure to deal with the bot infestation IS .. and when they do anything it's to nerf the content for legit players.

just report them all you can do it be a lot faster . companys have a policy to follow and even if that takes some time they will abide by their policy . I think they would have stated what in part that would be but they wont be able to list the full details or they will show their hand ,
so I think most of these posts the players would know that so really is no need for so many posts on this topic

- Quest bugs
- Ability bugs
- Bots
- Payment/subs problem
- Crashes
- Server optimizations
- Class balances
- Console stuff
- EU physical server and all the problems coming with it
- Pressure from marketing to push better contents faster to gain more subs
on top of :
- Ongoing community news bs like stuff they put on the launcher
- Pushing for new content
- Planning ahead for a few patches and the work that comes with it, in many languages no less
- Future things they break by applying new patches
- Regular maintenance
I think its gonna bee a looooongggggg time judging by their workrate so far until we see any significant changes, better hold on tight!

Why shoudn't there be postings about the botting getting out of hand? I know you are new to ESO but we, who have been around since beta have seen an almost daily increase in botting over the last couple of weeks, even though many of us report every bot we see. In fact, they have become so numerous that they impact on the game experience of many players.
These threads have generally two purposes. They serve as a kind of overflow valve for the (increasingly) frustrated gamers, and they might build up pressure for Zenimax to increase their effort in doing something about it.1
