    Necromancer
Necromancer. It fails to feel like a actual necromancer to me. It's thing should be about temporary and permanent pets/summons. Here is what I said in a post similar to this. Also, vampire. I made a vampire rework idea. Feel free to check it out by clicking on my profile.
I think Necromancer needs a definite overhaul. It should be a mix of temporary and permanent pets for use. It doesn't need to be "every" skill, but a few would do. Let me just do a broad summary.

    DPS skills:

2 of the Active skills should be a perm summon ((similar to Sorc pets in function, but not purpose. Both DPS. One could be a Single-Target "mob" type (2-3 skeletons/bloodfiends that chase down a target and damage them. Applies debuff on activation of skill). The other the Skeletal Mage. Drops DoT AoE on targeted location while causing passive damage to assigned enemy)). 1 skill as a temp pet (could be Blastbones before the current version). And the last 2 can either be a good spam and AoE, cleave, or whatever. Ult could be summoning a squad of undead that last 30-45 seconds, or another permanent undead with an AoE like the current skill (could be similar to the bone colossus we see necromancers summon with blue fire).

    Tank:

1 skill creates a bone wall. Effectively like what the Cryomancers do (or bigger. It taunts non-bosses to take pressure off). 1 skill is like the totem to create buffs for tanking. 2 abilities to buff/debuff (self/group). 1 skill to taunt. Last skill provides Armor buff (Ex: Major Resolve. Could be pretty similar current Bone Armor). Ult could stay as a transformation. Ult could stay as-is for base morph, Ravenous stays as-is (but with an extended time), but Pummeling Goliath become an alternate form entirely. More DPS focused (lich form? Similar to Skyrim mod Undeath?) Toggle (buffs decrease over time like Sorc's Hurricane builds in size, but over a 30-second but grants an alternate function). Gives alternate ult while in form but takes extra damage from fire to a degree (not as bad as Vampires).

    Healing:

2 skils for perm undead. One heals self and people passively in the area. The other can create a shield (destroying shield kills the pet. Morph provides shields to group within a range and makes shields a bit stronger and the other turns it into more of a tank and can taunt a selected target and those around the target in a medium AoE). 1 skill AoE heal. 1 skill self/small group heal. 1 purge skill. Ult skill is around the same but with small rework (drop the cost a little).

As for the permanent undeads, I would make them active even if I switch bars. Sorcs should have pets reworked to stay active if bars are swapped and only on one bar. As for the number of summons, I think they'll be fine (especially for role-based builds).

If anything, this game needs to have skills work differently in and out of PvE and PvP. Doing a buff or nerf should not effect both.

Welp, hope this was an entertaining read. Like I said, it was a summary. Some spots were a bit detailed, but not specific. As you noticed, I never mentioned Corpses. I do think that corpses could be removed or reworked to a degree to be a more passive role (so it adds a benefit, but is not a core mechanic).

As you can see, there are a lot of pets used. For Sorc, it should focus on Dark magic, Summoning Daedra, Daedric curses, and Lightning-based attacks. Necromancers should be about using the Dead with some other spells in tow. Mainly, they should be be commanders of the undead.

    Necromancer
Necromancer DPS has never worked for me, it just doesn't sync with my brain. And as the fights in dungeons and trials get more mobile, the class (and it's reliance on stationary corpses that are hard to correctly place) makes less and less sense.

I do like my necro healers and tanks, but not as much as other classes.

Great point. This mechanic works against the emphasis on mobility.

    Templar
I just finished the achievement for getting all classes to level 50, and my least favorite to do that with was the Stamina Templar. I hate the jabs, I hate the stamina morph of Hurricane (I actually went with the magicka), and I just couldn't figure out how to make the rotations not feel clunky and weird. Furthermore, their class passives make them have to rely more on gear to get pen, crit, and %dam up to passable levels.

Second is probably necro, but that may be my fault; I made a bow/bow necro because it was the last class I needed and I was kinda bored of the same-old-same-old by that point. It relied too heavily on dots, so even overland monster take too long to kill (as opposed to my stamblade, who one-shots overland mobs even just in crafted gear).

    Warden
Warden cannot be a DPS character for PvP because of the 30k HP limit passive, so in current state I'll never play this class.

Arcanist forces you to use class spammables only because crux system is limited, so it gets boring as a DPS main.

Templar has no fun class ultimates or abilities, everything just feels really meh to me, and the whole healer line is repetitive circles on the ground... I just can't enjoy this class as a DPS main.

Yeah, this is why I put in my suggestion to rework or remove corpses. It should be more of a passive deal than a core mechanic. I hate the core mechanic of corpses on this game.

    For me, it's tiers:

    1. nb dk
    2. warden arcanist necromancer
    3. sorc templar

Necromancer tank is amazing fun in vet pve content. I especially enjoyed 3 dps dungeon and arena groups. I haven't done a support/parse necro because I'm focused on improving in other areas, but I think I'd enjoy it a lot more than parse arc.

I think parse arc is boring, but the class is interesting outside of beam builds.

I enjoy playing sorc and templar, just not as much as the others. templar is the only class I haven't played in pvp despite having 4 level 50s. I haven't played any of my 4 nbs in pvp since 2019!

    Warden
This isn't to say Warden isn't an enjoyable class, but if I had rank them, it's 7th. I have 2 wardens out of 20 characters, a pet build and a healer, and they are both less fun then my sorcerer versions of those builds. Necro and Arcanist rank higher because I found them to be a lot of fun during past and now the current Mayhem PvP events.

I tried Sorcerer once to level 20 and deleted it. I tried hard to get into Warden but other than the animal companion skill line the other two are just too weak and strange to me. If anything the warden skill line needs a do-over.

They tried to make warden a frost mage and also nature magic user. It’s a very odd mix and I’m not sure why they went that way. I think maybe at the time they weren’t sure how long the game would last and so they were just trying to get in as many popular archetypes as possible.

I actually like all of the classes. I really do.

This poll seems a bit more about class concept and vibe (rather than meta/being powerful/balanced) and, from that lens, it is almost a tie for NB and DK, for me. A biiiiig part of that is that I have always struggled to differentiate between the two. I don't know why. :D They just don't feel unique enough to me, so they haven't ever really clicked with me as other classes have.

I ultimately chose NB over DK for this poll because in addition to it never having captured me fully, I have a negative association with a few builds I tried. I tried a PvP sniper build and it just completely failed, and then a WW LA build which hurt my hand. AND this particular NB was a Wood Elf, so I stopped using it altogether after the racials were redone. I still do like NB and I've been enjoying my NB healer that I created, but just overall the NB class has been my least positive experience across all my years of ESO, and I'm only really just now starting to learn the ins and outs of the class.

It is just in such a horrible place that it is always guaranteed to be first in a poll like this and last in a favorite poll.

    Necromancer
Necro is simultaneously my favorite and least favorite class simultaneously and I'll explain.

I started the game as a khajiit necromancer for the most part, drifting around to the other classes prior. I love the theme of it, especially after playing through the Order of the Hidden Moon quests in beta test of Elswyr, being a necromancer that used their control over life-force and the soul to heal the sick and redeem corrupt Dro'Mathra souls was just awesome.

And yet...the balance just isn't there, from both a numbers-wise and class fantasy standpoint...

For example, I did Infinite Archives the past couple weeks as a bit of a warmup to getting back into the game. For comparison I did some with my arcanist too. Both in healer gear. The arcanist was melting foes with 60k or so 3x Crux-juiced beams ripping through lines of foes front to back ontop of exploding triple-shot that also cost 1/2 as much and gave a huge barrier worth half my health in shield just for casting it. Meanwhile Necromancer takes that same ~4 seconds of the beam to summon an exploding skeleton that does 6x less damage and almost nothing else, and skull takes 3 separate casts to hit two extra targets, taking mana each time, compared to Arcanist exploding on the third hit of every cast and getting stronger with every hit as opposed to the skull getting a damage boost only on the third cast.

Then there's the healing. The necro has a circle that can consume a corpse for a HoT and optional cleanse that people don't bring, a healing ghost that just doesn't seem to heal much, and a rez ult most people don't bring to my knowledge...and that's basically it as far as unique stuff... Meanwhile Arcanist has the basic heal give ultimate, the beam give resources to everyone it heals, barriers across a whole party that are eaither stronger if cast a second time or heal like the healing staff's bubble on steroids, a circle that applies nearly every minor buff in the game plus can heal those standing in it, with a second aura that gives armor, a buff to their weapon that gives sorcery and such just for having it slotted on EITHER bar, meaning you don't even have to double-bar it and it ALSO gives resources just for occasionally light-attacking.

Khajiit was, in general, a very good student, and particularly enjoyed Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra and Abstract Vector Spaces. However, this one was not very fond of his linguistics classes, and always felt they had a very pronounced subjective bias toward bald-bottom chicanery with respect to language origins.
