1. Sweetwater Cascades
2. Seaveil Spire
3. Princely Dawnlight Palace
4. Potentate's Retreat
This is mostly a list based on my observations where water in the home wasn't meant to be an 'afterthought' or a 'side effect' of its location. Instead the home specifically caters towards the presence of water within it; the list is also organized by my own personal rating of how much it caters towards that presence. Sweetwater and Seaveil are leagues (pardon the pun) above the other two. But Princely Dawnlight and Potentate's provide a natural man-meets-sea structure that the original two do not. I believe Potentate's to be worth less than Princely Dawnlight because it is damaged inside and that makes it seem very lackluster to me.
Lastly, the main reason I put Sweetwater Cascades at the very top is unlike Seaveil Seaspire it has a great deal of available structuring in the game that will blend naturally with the building so that, depending on how you build it, you can add extra bridges/pathways over your water-based home without it clashing with the view.
Grand Psijic Villa (Island)
It's beautiful. Several steaming fountains. Several soaking pools around. Even a hidden little pool inside. Not to mention the sweeping stairways leading to the body of water surrounding the house. Multiple pools around. I find it to be just fabulous.

Also worth remembering there are now a couple of options for adding water to homes, the Basalt Pool, Everlasting Waterfall and the Sulfur Pool...... oh and ofc several different fountains.
I have made some really pretty streams using the waterfalls. 🙂
