And even then, I'd be furious if it was this.
There are 17 18 Daedric Princes. Can we feature someone other than that overdone ninny for once?

There are already assets (such as butterflies) to make it happen.
But we probably won't see any new class in a while, especially with the changes to how the content will be released, will we?
You mean I could bludgeon someone with a wheel of cheese?
I can thoroughly destroy any player's mind?
Does that mean Volendrung gets to come out of Cyrodiil and be totally OP?

It could be kind of cool to open up new universal skill trees (like the mages and fighters guild ones) that are based on the daedric princes and divines. But, make it so you only get access to one skill tree at a time, based of whichever being you choose to worship/favour, not unlike some of the Skyrim faith mods.
Sadly these forums are probably one of the worst places for new ideas or change - there definitely seems to be a lack of imagination or any sort of desire for discussion that deviates from whatever the precious status quo is.

I know the DLC classes really stick to a tank/heal/DPS setup for their class lines, but I really like the idea of an Artificer more being along the basegame lines of skills that go in certain categories so you have a mix of skill lines per role. That's what made me think more of the lines being summons, gadgets, and Tonal Magic (your typical D&D Bard stuff that people have been asking for)tomofhyrule wrote: »Secrets of Dwemer AnimunculiUltimate: Summon Centurion (a temporary pet that slams down like the Sorc Storm Atro and then starts spinning its blades). Morphs to follow a target while spinning or to stay stationary and just fire lightning blasts all over - see the blue and red Centurions in Volenfell.
- Summon Spider (a permanent Spider centurion pet that does a melee attack). Morphs to have a stronger electric attack, or you can activate it again to put it into a charging state where it heals and empowers all constructs nearby for a time
- Summon Jumping Spider (a temporary pet that acts like a Blastbones). Morphs to jump more times before exploding or to debuff enemies hit
- Summon Sphere Centurion (a permanent Sphere centurion pet that has a crossbow ranged attack). Morphs to become an Arquebus with a lightning ranged attack or changes to a melee slash and can be activated to turtle up and heal itself
- Summon Sentry (a temporary pet that stays in place and absorbs 50% of damage to allies in range). Morphs to have higher health or to release stored damage as a lightning attack
- Dwemervamidium Armor (an armor summon like the memento that counts you as a construct while active). Morphs to return some damage like the Radiant Bastion set or apply a DoT around the caster
Tools of KagrenacUltimate: Dwemer Ballista (spawns a ballista that functions as it does in PvP. It has 3 shots under perfect conditions, but it and you can be attacked). Morphs to guard you while using it or to double the time it's active.
- Jolt (a melee lightning spammable). Morphs to allow the lightning to jump to three other close enemies, or adds a cast time to make it a conal steam blast with knockback
- Grenade (a ground-targeted throwable grenade with physical damage). Morphs to do fire damage and leave a ground DoT or applies Hemorrhage and a sticky bleed on enemies hit.
- Blade Trap (a placeable trap that takes a bit to arm like the FG Barbed trap skill. Spins and does heavy damage in the area). Morphs to be placeable at range or to apply a snare to enemies inside.
- Colossus Arms (a melee conal buzzsaw). Morphs to snare or to become a conal fire blast, both like the Colossus arms attacks
- Conduit (a three part attack to set two pylons and then a third activation to spark a lightning bolt between them). Morphs to snare enemies inside or to do much higher damage instantly, but then the pylons need to be reset
Tonal ArchitectureUltimate: Apotheosis (freezes you and puts your character into an undamageable state for 2 secs. 1 second after activation, it will resurrect nearby allies and buff them. After 2 seconds, your character dies). Morphs to not kill you completely but not give allies as much of a buff, or to give you 5 seconds of inaction before your character dies.
- Resonance (an AoE heal like vigor, but a burst heal). Morphs to have a HoT or to add a buff to allies
- Prism (a ground-targeted totem that heals in range). Morphs add buffs to allies or to debuff enemies.
- Harpy Song (an AoE damage spammable). Morphs to fear enemies or charm enemies from a larger radius.
- Animus (essentially the Necro skill Bitter Harvest)
- Tonal Connection (connects to an ally with a beam to buff everyone in the beam's path). Morphs to add a HoT or to distribute damage taken to all members
