No double Tel Var

I thought the event was supposed to have double Tel Var. Me and others in our group are not seeing a change in the Tel Var. Either from quest rewards or from kills. What are the conditions to get the double Tel Var?

there never was double tel var during midyear - you only get them at IC event which is a different one

Since the IC Event does not exist anymore since years we had double Tel Var during MYM. Personally I didn't calculate it, if there was more Tel Var during my IC venture today.

It is advertised as double Tel Var but its not dropping double Tel Var. Anyone know if there is a condition for this to be active?

Hi all, we checked in with the team and they see that the +100% boost to Tel Var is active and working as intended.

Hey all, we just added a clarifying edit to our Midyear Mayhem event article including the info you see below. We did confirm that things are working as they should with Tel Var bonuses for the event and that this is how it's always worked, but we recognize that not all the details were in the article. They are now. Thank you for making us aware.

Please note that Tel Var Stone earnings are increased by 100% from all non-player sources with the following exceptions:
Small, Medium, and Large Tel Var Satchels you get from the daily quests

Treasure Scamp Satchels

The Parcel of Tel Var Stones obtained from Pelinal's Boon Boxes

This is really confusing - these ARE the major non-player sources unless I'm missing something key. I was totally expecting to get double rewards in the satchels and boon boxes based on the original description, so did a bunch of the daily sewer quests and was surprised at the lack of extra

Honestly that's what a lot of players are able to do so this is going to be a major disappointment.

None of those were double TV in past Mayhem events: it's only non-player enemies in IC who drop double TV.

Whitestrake's.

More specifically, Whitestrake's used to grant double Tel-Var from inventory containers such as quest rewards. The removal of the double Tel-Var from these sources is a pretty recent change and was not documented at the time. IIRC, it happened with the previous Mayhem.

If you are wanting to farm Tel-Var, Its really easy to just gank unsuspecting players in IC and the Sewer. You get half of whatever they are carrying.

Last Mayhem there was an exploit where you could get 800 Tel'Var out of a light satchel.

Seems ZOS fixed it with the sledge hammer and disabled double Tel'Var in satchels completely
