This is the official feedback thread for various player character game entitlement systems. Specific feedback that the team is looking for includes the following:
  • Upon initial login, did you have the correct number of character slots unlocked?
  • Are you running into any issues where you can’t buy from an in-game vendor that you clearly should be able to?
  • Are you getting currency rewards as expected (i.e. write vouchers, endeavor seals, imperial city keys, gold, etc)?
  • Any other general highlights?

Or they can just introduce more sets that we can use

Runebound Tomes from the Battleground Merchant to now properly Bind on Pickup. This will affect any Runebound Tomes that have been placed in Guild Banks or Guild Traders. The item(s) will Bind to the first player to remove these from those locations.
This is from your patch notes, I'm replying here because it seems the best category. Please, please do not make this change. This hurts everyone. Right now PVP Battlegrounds players can farm the Battlemaster Tokens, selling items like the mask for 3-6 million gold, which is great. People who do not like Battlegrounds can pay the gold for it. All the bind-on-pickup cosmetics from the pvp reward vendors in Cyro, IC, & BG have been a negative change. Before the game started doing this, they were tradeable, which was better for everyone. Now you are taking away some of the tradeable items. This is a negative change that hurts everyone.

    Yeah.

Incentivize player trading for content they have no interest in participating in.

If it costs a lot of gold, people might be incentivized to trade, or shill out and sell some crowns for gold. Having needed to buy those crowns in the first place. (See Warframe)

This change might hurt ZoS' wallet.

(I'm not a fan of farming players for AP to convert into items to sell for gold, I'm not sure how these tomes are acquired, but from Battlegrounds it sounds like it would be about match rewards and the like, not strictly AP).

The mask, for example, is 100k ap and 20 battlemaster tokens, from the vendor. The tougher requirement is the once-a-day part, the battlemaster token, similar to the once-a-day tokens from Cyrodiil and Imperial City for stuff there. All the stuff you buy with these tokens used to be tradeable, which was better for everyone.

Making items that can only be earned in pvp currencies tedious to obtain, and THEN making then boud on pickup will only drive down engagement in such activities not increase it.

If there is no way that I can see myself obtaining content myself and I can't trade for it, then the best thing to do is to just pretend it doesn't exist.

If I can make gold on something, then I'm willing to suffer a bit.

Which, considering that pvp content requires players to engage in it (whether they hate or like it)....well players ignoring the content that's the worst thing you can do.

I don't know where to put this exactly so I'm putting it here, but BIG THANK YOU for adding skill styles as a challenger reward for both dungeons! It feels like the perfect reward to put there; I hope that it will entice players to try achieving in dungeons without frustrating the general public like the two challenger personalities seem to. I've been feeling like dungeons have been thrown under the bus as of late because oathsworn pit & bedlam veil were too easy as well as the change in monetization, but I can say that giving us our challenger rewards back has at least made me feel seen.
