when the game launched I bought the imperial ed and a 100.00 visa prepay card to pay for the 6 months. well after putting in the info and getting back all the correct responses, and that the money was taken off the card. after i spent the rest I threw the card away. Well on the 9th of this month i got a email saying that they tried to charge the card again and it was declined. So I called them. they said that I need to check with the card company. the card company need the 16 numbers to find the card in there system. I was told that the only people in eso that had the numbers was the risk management people that that my ticket was elevated to them. well 4 days later. I have hers *** from them. Hell they would not even have to give me the *** numbers just call the gift card company directly. but no. I guess they are to bust seeing if it is a bigger risk to profits on ether banning gold seller or the loss of players leaving from the gold seller, and boters. Well I guess I will just wait till wildstar is out. at least that has a company that know how to make and run mmos.

I realise it's annoying but ranting at ZOS when the reason you need their help is your own actions I guess is the modern way.

Have fun in Wildstar. hope it turns out better than the other major sci-fi MMO that bombed badly, SW:TOR.

i am more pissed that they have note even tried to contact me. also WS is made by carbine studio and published by ncsoft and swtor was made by bioware.

You're probably not going to want to hear this, but here's what most likely happened:

1. You use the card to authorize the subscription.
2. ZOS automatically puts through an authorization on the card to ensure that the card is valid & not currently overlimit. They do not actually charge the card at this point, but that amount is temporarily unavailable for you to use (although I seem to remember there were threads around launch time about them actually charging the card right away - if that happened they probably had to reverse all of those charges in order to meet their side of the subscription agreement).
3. You go to spend the rest of the prepaid card. By this time the authorization on the card from ZOS has expired (or they've reversed the incorrect charge), so all of the money is available for you to use. You spend it all without realizing that you shouldn't have had that much money on the card.
4. You throw away the card.
5. Your subscription time comes and ZOS goes to charge the card, only to find that the money is no longer there.

Anyway, that might not be what happened, but it's likely. Having said that, a lack of proper response from ZOS is another matter entirely. If my scenario is accurate, they should have been able to figure it out for you, or at a minimum give you the card number like you wanted.
