Which World skills need a rework?

Inspired by this poll about which Guild skills need a rework, this poll is designed to query the community about which skills in the World category (including Soul Magic, Vampire, and Werewolf) could use a rework.

Use the "Other" option to talk about World skills I haven't listed here, World Scribing Skills (as of now, just Soul Burst and Wield Soul in the Soul Magic skill line), or passives in the other World skill lines, such as Scrying, Excavation, and Legerdemain.


EDIT: I mistakenly wrote (World) for the two (Soul Magic) skills. Hopefully this doesn't cause too much confusion.

Werewolf Should be Allowed to Sneak
Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color), Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

    Mesmerize (Vampire)
    Mesmerise is virtually useless with Fighter’s Guild skill that does the same thing but better.

    Honestly, every Werewolf skill could probably do with a rework.

    - Pounce is so janky with its 2 stage activation for no reason
    - Hircine's Bounty could really do with an overhaul, with notable suggestions including providing an AoE heal component for utility, a HoT for better sustain as well as one of the morphs scaling off Max Stamina rather than Max Health.
    - Roar has the whole "Terrified" jank to it and the really odd tank morph (Ignoring the fact that the thing has a huge Stamina cost and pitiful duration for its Major Breach + Minor Maim...)
    - Howl is again related to the entire "Terrified" thing and is overall kind of lame outside of the Despair morph providing that synergy.

    Infectious Claws is about the only skill that feels okay for Werewolf.

    Like;

    - Pounce just being a single skill would dejankify it.

    - Hircine's Bounty being completely overhauled to be a better overall heal skill.

    - Roar overhauled to provide better utility (Devoid of "Terrified" nonsense), both in terms of what effects it provides but also making such things last 20/30 seconds so you're not forced to spam this insanely expensive skill constantly.

    - Howl no longer being tied to "Terrified" for full damage. Give it a Tank morph where it turns into 22 range Taunt (Since Werewolves can't just slot Silver Leash/Inner Beast to get a ranged taunt). Heck, make the Feeding Frenzy synergy baseline and give the damage morph something more exciting than "Does more damage when X"

    - Werewolf Transformation itself could even get a rework. Turning it into a 2 stage activation skill meaning that like say, Feral Guardian, there would be an actual ultimate skill to utilize while transformed into a Werewolf.

    I feel like a lot of these need help, but I'm going with the vamp ult simply because I hate the rework of it and stopped using the skill just because of it. Even now, I feel like there's no ult that goes with my build as well as the old vamp ult did.

    Agreed 100%! Even with Infectious Claws, I'd argue that the lifesteal component of Claws of Life is disproportionately more powerful in PvE against multiple targets than in PvP, due to the heal scaling off the damage dealt with the damage over time component. Enemies in PvP have far more resistances than enemies in PvE do, so Claws of Life deals little damage and heals for much less. Plus, thematically, lifesteal is more of a Vampire thing than a Werewolf thing.

    I'd really love to see Werewolf Transformation be given a 2 stage activation trigger just like Feral Guardian or Incapacitating Strike. Even if our Ultimate is reset to 0 when losing form (so we can't immediately re-enter form) I'd still love to have some use for Ultimate while transformed. We currently can't use CP passives like Strategic Reserve, IA visions like Adaptive Conqueror, or any item set which grants Ultimate. Having some in-form Ultimate would greatly enhance the Werewolf gameplay style in both PvE and PvP.
