I hope ZOS eventually gives us Werewolf and Vampire Companions! It's bound to happen eventually — though I hope we get the Werewolf/Vampire skill lines separate from their Class skill lines.

Tanlorin got away with replacing Ardent Warrior (the Companion Dragonknight damage dealer skill line) with Empathic Fighter (the Companion Soul Magic skill line) but this likely wouldn't work with the Companion Werewolf skill line due to the transformation requirement. You could make the argument that this would work just fine with the Companion Vampire skill line — but would you really want to give up the damage dealer skill line of your Companion's Class just to have Companion Vampire skills, instead of having Companion Vampire skills in addition to the regular Class skills?



I personally really want a Werewolf Companion. I would like if they could transform and use Companion Werewolf abilities. It'd be great if they counted toward the player's Call of the Pack passive while transformed to allow the player to stay transformed for longer.

I'd build such a Companion as a damage dealer, which is really the ideal setup for a Werewolf build, and I'd bring them along with me whenever I'm questing or doing a run in the Infinite Archive.

I don't mind what gender, race, or class they are, as long as they have the Companion Werewolf skill line somewhere in their toolkit. You could probably imagine that Orc, Nord, or Bosmer would make great candidates for a Werewolf character (due to the shared emphasis on martial ability) and you might say that Warden would be a thematic class for a Werewolf character. I expect we'll be surprised when we get our first Werewolf Companion.

A Wyress she-wolf who, like the Wyress you briefly travel with during a quest, can talk, cast spells and bite.

Zenimax spent a fortune filling the game with great voice acting and the only way to shut up these ridiculous companions is to completely mute all dialog.

I think they got the comically rude high elf well with the Alinor banker lady, Tilanfire.

Wtf. I never knew that, she was always damn near comically polite to me.

But it would be funny to have a companion who doesn't kiss your hindquarters all the time. Either someone who accompanies you begrugingly (like a bound dremora), or one who banters with you constantly, even coming close to crossing the line at times. I suppose that would put a lot of people off though, and not sell well.
