Yeah they definitely are dropping normally now. For a couple of years they just were not on normal drop tables for some reason. Been getting a decent stream of em since gold road and the prices have thankfully dropped to sane levels.

Glad I got a full run when I did so people can farm this stuff at will :v

Sidenote, I placed the Gold Road books (How to scribe, Fables of the Luminaries etc) on the Oath of the Keepers plinth on the left stairwell. I'll update the map when I have time.

Are you saying a book Furnishing dropped from Azandar’s portfolio? Which one?

Some updates, Been a minute!

First off, nearly at 500 books! ...really feeling that item limit :')

Secondly, a Bastion Nymic book, Legends of Fathoms Drift is currently on sale. Bastion Nymic books are some of the harder books to acquire, so a good time to grab em.

Next, I updated the map and directory finally. Moved some things around to squeeze out a few more item slots. Also editing the OP to clarify the purpose of this little project.

Lastly, though not book-related, I feel I should mention that the Filer Ool store in the Archive is currently selling a lead (Inkwood Box, 5000 fortunes) that is normally only attainable by Tales of Tribute coffers. So if you don't want to grind tribute matches for a rare music box lead, might be a good idea to pick it up.

PS: All Bastion Nymic and (as of this moment) Crown furnishing books have been collected~

PPS: Moved Bastion Nymic books to a wall-shelf to save room.

I'm loving watching your library grow! I've gotten quite a few books in my EM from you!! According to my checklist, I'm missing 2 BN books, 1-2 SH books, 3 IA books and 1 crown-store furnishing pack book (the dwarven pipes pack book, not much into dwarven so I've never bought that pack LOL) so sometime maybe this year I will finish up my own library.

That's great!! And...hmmm, the spreadsheet I found shows 66 books in the Infinite Archive, 21 books in Scrivener's Hall, 5 books in Bastion Nymic, 4 books in chests for Clockwork City, 4 for Coldharbour, 4 for Gold Coast, 3 for Hew's Bane, 3 for Northern Elsweyr, 4 for Southern Elsweyr, 4 for Summerset, and 4 for Wrothgar, for a total of 122 books. I know this doesn't count the Mage's Guild reprints and such, but I wonder why my list is showing 66 books for the IA and yours is showing 65? And I'm wondering if my other numbers are right.

I'm betting that "Rumors of the Spiral Skein" was originally mislabeled as an Infinite Archive book on your list (it was on my original list)....it was only available as part of a crown furnishing pack. Your other numbers look correct.

Unfortunally im not on NA so yeah that's a bit of a shame but well, not too big of an issue. There are actually 3 books from 2020 Tamriel Together Guild Contest you miss (probably you did not list them on purpose?) in your home but i doubt anyone has all 3 of them so yeah.

Just for completion:
A Tale of the Dauntless Bananas - The book may be read at Castle Faregyl Lumbermill or Victory Tavern in the AD side in Cyrodiil.
Goldleaf Acquisitions, Manager's Notes - The book may be read in the Cold Moon Inn (ground floor) in Windhelm.

There are also 2 other books which got added with the contest but they are not a book furnishing. These 2 are:

how many runs did you do in the scrivener hall to get all the books? or did you buy them from filler too? i ran it surely 40-50 times and opened way over 100 chests and havent gotten a single book yet. Too bad the books from chests are bound too... i wish it would be different.

To my understanding, these books were given as furnishings to the winning guilds at the time. PC/EU winning books won't be on PC/NA servers as furnishings and vice versa. So although the copies can be found in the world at the spots you mentioned, I think "An Ode to the Disenfranchised" is the only one in furnishing form on PC/NA...And, yes, I left it off my list of 503....thanks for rubbing in the fact I can never get it! Lol

That said, only missing 4 is quite an accomplishment! Personally, I still need about 4 or so from both the SH and IS collections, as well as a few more crown-only books.

Rumors isn't a scriv hall book; it appears in Rivenspire and CoH2. Its furnishing equivalent is from the Trappings of Mephala Worship Furnishing Pack on the crown store. I have a copy if you need the eidetic.

I wish it was on pc EU.

Seriously though, does anyone have a library on pc EU where I can go read the last few ones I am missing. It's such a pesky feeling to run scrivener's and IA knowing that I still couldn't get all of the books because I haven't read them yet ><

Just did a recount to be sure....and apparently, I missed a bookshelf last time I counted (oops)...seems there's actually 513 readable furnishings on PC NA (not counting Tamriel Together winners, but including the 2 new companion letters). Sorry for the miscount, everyone! (triple checked this time! lol)
