Which Skill Line do you most want new Scribing skills added to next?

In my eyes, the most builds going the boring range-attack way, because of the restriction what melee-builds have.
Thats why i think melee need some help.

The skill line itself doesn't matter, i wish only an melee spamable scribing skill whitout duration, no cast time and which is not classbound.

    Maybe anything like an magic-fist-punch-skill.

Class Skill Lines (Nightblade, Sorcerer, Dragonknight, Templar, Warden, Necromancer, Arcanist)
I want classic Elder Scrolls spells and this is the only way since ZOS scrapped Spellcrafting.

    • Dragonknight: Flame Cloak, Flames
    • Sorc: Summon Dremora Lord, Sparks
    • Nightblade: Harmony, Detect Life
    • Templar: Stendarr’s Aura, Turn Undead
    • Warden: Blizzard, Frostbite
    • Necromancer: Necromancer’s Ritual, Raise Zombie
    • Arcanist: Conjure Seeker, Telekinesis Arrows

As it currently stands... I'm not particularly interested in more Grimoires unless the scribing system shows some level of evolution.

Since as of right now, the system boils down to picking a particular vector (Single Target or AoE) and then slapping on some generic effects based on the vector chosen.

Whereby there's often little difference between one grimoire or another other than the arbitrary array of what scripts are available (And how janky the actually skill is to use... 1.5-2s cast times lmao)

With the real pull to using a particular grimoire being what skill line passives it activates.

    So if I were to pick from current skill lines;

    - Psijic would be nice, since there are some nifty passives for the skill tree but many of the skills in it are kind of meh.
    - Werewolf would be good since it would directly add more skills you can actually slot as a werewolf.
    - Vampire skills can benefit from the Vampire cost reduction passive and thus be pretty nifty (As well as avoiding the cost increase passive for non-Vamp skills).
    - Assault would provide more ways to proc the Powerful Assault set.

If Grimoires were more interesting and this was simply a choice of "What skill lines would I like more skills in?" then I'd say things like:

    - Dark Brotherhood. More stabby with the Blade of Whoa and more benefits to help murderizing.
    - Thieves Guild. More options for sneaky beaky stuff (Invisibility skill for non-NB's instead of having to farm invis pots?)

Personally, I'd like if these classic spells weren't locked behind specific Classes, but I definitely see the appeal in having more abilities that proc Class passives.

I agree but many of these spells do not thematically make any sense outside of classes at this point.

Spellcrafting would’ve given us the five schools of magic skill lines, and all of these abilities, but unfortunately that system is long gone :disappointed:

If the intention is that these are new skill lines, then what would you like to see for the base 5 abilities (and 1 Ultimate) for each of those skill lines, and what would you like to see from at least 1 Grimoire for each of those skill lines?
