With all due respect are all these threads just in hopes to get players excited like for example the overland one? We’ve been told time and time again there is nothing that can be added without removing something else. All I hear is we can’t have this or that or how eso wish they could do this and that but can’t because of limitations due to the engine and the support of older hardware. I’m sure nothing will come of this besides the bare minimum or something that’s just mediocre like the last few chapters. I just don’t believe in the game anymore or the developers to deliver anything worth something until you fix all the limitations that are holding the game back.

I feel like this is just another topic that will ignore all player feedback anyway and do whatever they planned to do regardless of what we want anyway. That’s the way it’s always been so why would this be any different ?

Frankly, the population is at an all time low. If they don't do something huge soon.. It will only get worse. They need a massive QOL update and a huge game dynamic change. Their current model was ok for a few years, but they clearly had resources cut or just got lazy. The last 6-7 updates did not bring a ton of players back and I think more left than stayed in the last 3-4. The last really good update we saw was the master attunables.

    4. Option to apply for a guild at the actual guild trader! The guild finder is nice but there is no way to search out a specific guild. This would be the #1 recruitment method if people could apply at the trader. I realize many guilds don't have a trader, but most popular ones do. It could be another option in the menu list, after "bid on trader".
This is a truly excellent idea.

Five guild slots is a lot. The more guilds we are in, the less we do for the guild. [snip for space]
So, it is better to seek quality vs quantity.
It really depends on the purpose of the guild and your purpose in being there. A player might want to be really involved in a couple of guilds, but also is really into trading. [snip for space]
I agree with @WolfStar07. The number of guilds a person can be active in depends greatly on a number of factors, including amount of time you spend playing a day/week, how long you've been playing, what you use the guild for, what platform you're on (guild activities like trading are much, much more time consuming on console, for instance), etc.

Plenty of us think, given how guilds (and trading) work in the game, 5 is not nearly enough.

I know you’re pretty jaded right now, and rightly so after that screenshot of yours I saw, but the Rewards Survey did yield a lot of benefit.

Since it’s conception we have now received Skill Styles that are all unlockable for completing content, and that’s the best kind of reward we could hope for on a lateral progression game.

I am genuinely surprised by the low participation rate in the forums and the lack of public feedback from Guild Leaders. This reflects the state of ZeniMax Online Studios' efforts in supporting the players who contribute the most to the community.

The players begged you for so long, most of them just left. They're not even saying, "if you do these things, I'll come back."

I hope @ZOS has something huge up their sleeves.

Sadly I agree. I was expecting a much higher level of participation, was counting on it even. I am not the creative type and it's difficult for me to come up with ideas sometimes, but it's obvious to anyone that the guild system is severely lacking. I was planning to go through the community's responses and include the suggestions I agree with in my copy of the survey, but It does seem like the people who cared the most about this game and who were willing to put in the time and effort to provide feedback are gone or just couldn't be bothered.

On the 1st page I made a huge list of wants/needs and provided links to studies to show why each was beneficial. Feel free to use that!

Participate enough on the forums here and some will automatically diss you when they find you make a post. I can handle disagreement, but I am amazed at the level of "of course this point is invalid, see the OP" type responses I regularly get.

Yes, I speak up more than many, but I want to see a better game. Not that such is likely, but hope springs eternal, right?

In my understanding guilds are used as "gold sink" from ZOS. If there would be no guilds anymore but any kind of auction house, there would be pretty fast a lot more gold in the game because the guilds dont need gold anymore to pay weekly for the locations.

But there are so many guild traderes somewhere in the middle of nowhere, without addons like TTC it's impossible to find something if you are looking for anything special. No problem though for PC users, but a big problem for the people playing on console.

I'm on PC and I have the TTC addon, but for our pals on console it would be great to have a mixture between auction house and guild traders. Stay with guild traders but give as something like TTC implemented so people can search ingame for a specific item and then go to this trader. This would be useful for both PC and consoles - one addon less for PC and a good way to search for specific items on consoles. And as side effect on consoles: better possibilities to sell items because now every other player can find what you want to sell.

Just wanted to follow up here. Thanks to everyone who filled out the survey. We have closed the survey and closing the thread. We'll be going through the feedback and sharing that with the Dev Team.
