I'm not surprised by any of this. The game is supposed to be rated for mature audiences, ie adults, but the devs treat us like children. It's their software, we are just renting it, we own nothing, they can do what they like and they will, just as they edit people's messages in this forum if they don't like the content. The simple solution is to use Discord and point all chat in guilds to that, say nothing in guild chat that could ever be construed to be contentious, talk to people like they are little kids and you'll be fine. Then the rest of us adults can have converations on Discord without big brother watching over us.
