I would love a record of:
Visitors - Favorites - Recommendations

yes, I have some recommendations, but that is not enough!! I want to see how many people visited! it's a half-baked 'feature'.
And it doesn't tell me which homes I've already visited! So annoying!

Wow that is unexpectedly harsh^^.
I don't care about the house tours, but I also think that it would still be uninteresting with a visitor counter.

Maybe it only seems harsh to you because probably housing is not your primary activity in the game, or you would understand.

I don't think I have a single primary activity, but I fail to see what that counter would do. Validation from strangers? From a number that can be artificially inflated by zoning in alt accounts? Is that what it is?

People put a house out for public viewing, and then want data on how many public viewed it.
I can't see what's confusing about that.

What is confusing about that is how much value is being put into that insignificant metric, based on the choice of words of the posters. It seems to be the deal breaker.

"This is one of the biggest disappointments I have ever had with this game. What a waste of a feature."
This is about the whole house tours feature.
" I can't even begin to comprehend how ZOS devs left this out of a feature called 'Home Tours'."
This is about one part of it- tracking visitors
And maybe it is a deal breaker for them. That's just how they see the world and so be it. I wouldn't worry about it, you don't see the world that way.

Well, to be honest, the houses were all pretty boring... some curation would be good if we're going for the eso home channel or Houzz ESO

I genuinely feel that this flop of a feature could just disappear soon. Many of the houses I have visited have been less than impressive when compared with some of the truly magnificent builds that can be seen. It's difficult to criticise, because every home listed has had care and effort put in, and it's someones vision of what they can do with their house, but often it's just placing furnishings rather than anything truly inventive or extraodrinary.
Players who aren't invested in housing may find that after a few visits they find little of interest and stop using the feature, simply because the way the recommendations list is going it seems filled with random houses that maybe aren't quite impressive enough to create real engagement.
Pity, when in reality there are so many truly awesome things to see. But aside actually knowing the name of the builder, how does anyone find them?
So not to brag, but I have reached the “recommended” list with four different houses. But the houses I am personally most proud of were not among them.
So it’s a bit off putting to me, I just am curious if people actually like the houses I like.
