Mount appearance didn't change at lvl 20?

I have the light horse and just hit lvl 20 with it. I thought the appearance was supposed to change, like extra straps on the saddle? All I've been feeding the horse is apples. Speed is at 44%. Am I missing something? Just curious.
UPDATE: It's really when your horse hits level 21, not 20. Since you start at level 1, it's 20 feedings, which puts you at level 21.

Korereactor✭✭✭So from reading on some sites, just hitting lvl 20 doesn't do it, you have to feed your horse the same food 20 times? I only fed this horse apples (so you think that would be 20 times?), but since it came with 10 stamina maybe I have to feed it more yet?0

your horse starts at level 1 so you will need it to be 21 for the cosmetic effect to show. so it should just take 1 more apple.You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

Afaik , you need to feed 20 of the same food to get a visible effect...so 20 Oats to get the saddle bags, or 20 Hay to get a visible armor, or 20 Apples to make the horse more slim but also more muscular1

atthwsm✭Holy god batman. To get Armor/Straps/Bags on your horse you must:
Feed it 20! (no, not it started at 15, feed it 5 more, but YOU taking 20 days type feeding) of the same food to get the effect.
Horse caps at 50, which means u can generally get 2 things on ur pony.

There is no such things. At least not now, maybe with second upgrades (and it appear at one skill maxed horse) - but i seriously doubt that.Does anyone have a picture of the thinner muscular horse?
- It would require swaping of that horse model, and Zenimax is avoiding that like crazy (thats why you get all those painted straps/ armors, only texture swaps not model)

Its not new models, its old, basic horse model with some aditions. And Zeni is avoiding new models cos they adding to lag in PvP.

We allready knew all tier 0 and tier 1 horses looks, and they ALL are the same.

For tier 2 -its still WAY to early, best trainers need about 5-7 days to max level starting horses
So where exactly you seen those mysterious "thiner&muscular horses"?

Btw -all horses from "Spoiler" section in my post in other thread, are from diffrent game - Lord of The Rings Online (LOTRO). Horse in blue is one of "racing" horses.
They have there few diffrent model for them + all horses also have pony mode (no, not MLP mode
) cos dwarves and hobbits cant really use fully grown horses.
In Eso -im affraid we only get some kind of blankets, or minor additions to what we saw allready -at least developers didnt posted any impresive screenshots. (screenshot in my post is supposed to be maxed speed horse)
Also nothing ever leaked form PTS server where at least some players should have maxed horses allready
Anyway -im affraid we will be waiting for stamina maxed horse WAY more then for the rest -most players only maxing capacity and speed (on diffrent mounts), no one really bother with stamina. (for example i have "stamina" Gaited horse, but im leveling him in 100% speed )
If we are out of luck, ESO "stamina/armor" horse didnt show up anytime soon

Knottypine✭✭✭I thought that you had to feed it 20 times... since the horse starts at level one, it's appearance would change once your horse hits level 21. I can't remember exactly when mine changed, but I'm sure it was 21. Or not? Hmmm....

Empu✭✭After feeding my horses 20 times (level 21) they got updated look, my fast mount is at level 37 at the moment so do not know yet if there'll be any more updates as those have not happened yet.
To clarify, i have 3 horses, one for speed, stamina and bag space, they all got updated look after 20 feedings.0 -
