Luminous Ink needs passive PvP sources, NOT an increased drop rate for passive PvE sources

It is not hard to farm resource nodes or mobs in Cyrodiil, you just have to do it.

But with the population caps set so low by ZOS because they can't seem to fix the performance there, why would we want half the 60-80 per faction players allowed at any one time to be running around picking flowers or farming trash mobs when those spots could be taken by people who actually want to PvP? A good portion of the cap quota is already taken by PvEers riding around looking for the torte recipe to sell. No reason to further dilute the limited available PvP player pool.

I think having ink ONLY available from passive RNG is a mistake, regardless of the PvE/PvP balance. There should be a limited number of guaranteed drops one can get per day — like replacing class script scraps once that is done, or just a drop added various reward coffers, or even purchasable with gold/AP/Telvar.

I'm not sure how I feel about Treasure Chests and Heavy Sacks being the new sources of Luminous Ink. Those are both generally PvE and Overworld sources — unless you go out of your way to collect them in Cyrodiil/Imperial City (still can't do this in Battlegrounds)

Maybe Luminous Ink is only meant to be passively earned via PvE activities?
