Hi all. I have a retail copy of ESO, pre-Tamriel Unlimited. However, considering how my entire Bethesda collection is on Steam, I'd really like to get ESO there too. I plan to buy the Gold Road Collection to catch up on several missed chapters and so I was wondering:
If I buy it on Steam, can I use my existing ESO account to log into it without losing progress?
I ask this because I figure, if I'm going to spend $60 on the Collection, I may as well get it on Steam so that I can finally make the move there and have my complete Bethesda collection on Steam. However, I don't want to risk spending that $60 unless I know that I'm able to use my existing ESO account that way. I tried finding answers for this online but the little bit of info I found left me confused and uncertain, so I'd like to discuss this myself and see what I can learn. Thanks in advance for any replies!
