I think that we can all agree that their only goal is to make money.

I don't understand why they should give something special.
I play and pay extra because i like the game, not because i "support ZOS", for very few dollars (when i pay ESO+) they provide me with hours of entertainment, cheaper than going to the movies.
I have never thought that i deserve anything for spending 10 years with X brand.
I have been using hotmail for 30 years, i wonder what Microsoft will give me if i complain to them.
In 2 more years it will be the 20th anniversary of the Wii, i wonder what Nintendo will give me.
I can't wait!
Hum. ZOS has been showering us with awesome daily rewards and free giveaways for like three months now. You don't like the mount from this event, which is fair--I don't like every kind of reward, either.
What about the hundreds of extra seals of endeavors over the last few months?
The welwa mount and pet from last month's rewards? The costume and emote from this month?
The free DLC for ESO Plus subscribers in the last few weeks (which I myself missed, as it happened to fall into a gap in my subscription)?
ZOS doesn't really have to give us anything. But if you're feeling disappointed, that's okay too.
To be honest, I was kind of surprised they didn't have any really special daily rewards this month as opposed to the last three. If anything I would've thought the April ones would be special, celebrating the 10th anniversary.Dax_Draconis wrote: »They gave away a bunch of gifts last month.
Yeah, I'm not amazed by this 10 year anniversary event at all. It might be because I think all of the stuff on the event merchant currently sucks (was looking forward to the personality, but then I saw how odd the idle is with the arms crossed so high up like a genie and no thanks).... but even the new stuff like the RNG+bound style pages. I mean, there's one that appeals to me and it's the Ul'vor Staff.
I tried farming for it a bit last night but then I realized what a terrible experience it was.... not sure who at Zenimax thought making a very rare item only drop from one very specific thing in one very specific zone was a good idea because doing geysers is a horrible time. Stuff dies so fast you can't even see the boss spawn and during the whole interaction the game stutters visually and audibly. Just have to throw down AOEs while watching and listening to the mess. -10/10 gameplay, and considering how rare these drops are said to be.... yeah, not sure how long I'll even want to attempt getting it since it feels like I'd have a better time watching paint dry.
The mount is also very disappointing. Like compared to the Hearthstone 10 year anniversary (was last month or something) mount in WoW.... it's really just sad.

It's funny. The only other welwa I have is the nagahide welwa, so I was really happy to get some welwas that look like the ones in Craglorn.JiubLeRepenti wrote: »Welwas ? Not joking, I already have nine welwas mounts in my collection. But why not.

Here we are talking about a game that expressly base his success on his community and its capacity to keep the game profitable. And it's the reason why ZOS makes a yearly event for its anniversary. Because they know it's important to us.
