Warden Questions and 1 Not-Warden question (Earth Staff)

Is there any hope of getting a re-skin eventually for the squid-that-restores-stam/mag? maybe a raven or owl?
- Bear not dissapearing when skill-bar swapping so I can use 2 ultimates?
- A form-enhance like sorcs hurricane (turns them transparent) : maybe on the Wings movement speed buff, have it leave leaves, feathers, etc floating around the warden and turn them slightly transparent or something cool for the duration? Yes I love those "form enhancing" abilities. (hurricane, its my favorite skill in ESO currently, next to the flower field)
- re-skin for the cliff-diver, maybe a phoenix bird?
-Vines ability : more glooooowies

Could we get a new weapon, earth staff or something? With earth (bleeds, crushes, movement speed impairments/crystals (healing, dps abilities or buffs)/vines(aoe roots), quicksand (dot)

Sidenote. I want to play an earth magic based class, but warden uses frost magic to attack, sorcerer has only 2 lightning attacks, dragon knight has earth/fire but no rain, snow, lightning, wind
it's like there are parts of the class I want to play in Templar, Sorc, Warden and Dragon knight.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

As a stam warden main, there are a lot of things I'd love to see. For example, a better spammable than cliffracer. It feels terrible to use and does okay damage, but I still end up defaulting to the bleed morph of Flurry and using the bird as a dot. Bear being one-barrable would be kinda nice, only cause I could front-bar Dawnbreaker for a better passive bonus, but it's not exactly as needed on Warden than it is on Sorc with their pets. I'd love to see a rework of the netch into something more useable. Whenever I slot it, all it does is lower my dps and doesn't really contribute much to my sustain (I do better sustain by slotting a mag ability that contributes to damage in its place). Not that the sustain is much better; swarm is worse than infection by a pretty large margin, not that I could slot the stam version over the mag version when my sustain is barely there. Some sustain buffs and a buff to the stam version of fletcher would be great. A bleed dot in the healing skill line would be great. Making the stam morph of Shalks do bleed damage, maybe make it Assassin Beetles (so bleed makes sense) for that morph and give it a third proc to make up for the fact that the other morph is so loaded with major AND minor breech. I mean man, even when I have good penetration, switching to the stam morph is about a 10k dps loss, or 20k without good penetration. A bleed morph of one of the ice skills would be nice, too.

I'll probably get a lot out of scribing with my bleed build, but right now with no info, the current state of stam Warden is very meh. I know myself and all the other stam warden mains, all 3 of them, would love to see some positive changes.

if the bear was able to be single barred, then it would be horrendously OP with the way it currently sits, because its already an extremely powerful ultimate

if you could back bar it with another ult on front bar your getting basically a free high dmg pet with no downsides whatsoever

while i would like the bear (and sorc pets) to be 1 barred, it would make their builds significantly more powerful than they are now, and both are already the "top tier" one bar oaken setups

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

I also don't think it needs to be one-barrable. Sorc pets kinda do, but Warden bear is an ult so it's a different story. For me, it wouldn't really change much with m build I don't think. The other warden ults aren't super good (the ice one is okay), and other ult options are kinda lacking unless I wanna use shooting star. I'd end up using dawnbreaker on the frontbar for passive bonuses. And the passive damage of the bear is pretty high. It'd probably need toned down damage while not double barred. Not a big deal really, but as a stam warden main, it's not something I really want honestly. There are a ton of other things I'd rather have touched on in Warden's kit than the bear.

Honestly the bear is actually a massive problem as is. With wild guardian it accounts for 15% of our total dps in single target. That is actually ridiculous compared to literally every other source of damage. It is so much of our total damage that it means that a significant portion of our kit is "balanced" around having it. There's no ultimate diversity at all because unlike other classes you can't use 2 ultimates. You're locked into using the damn thing. Bear actually needs a pretty significant nerf and the rest of the warden dps's kit to be brought up in compensation.

I reckon if they add more class set gear to the IA, one for the wardens animal companion class skill line, They may very well make it so that the bear can be active while slotted on either bar in addition to adding a component to it that rewards a wardens use of the animal companion skill line.

    Maulers Might
    2: ?
    3: ?
    4: ?
5: While slotted on either bar, the feral guardian* persists until killed or unsummoned. Guardians Wrath now affects enemies within 3 meters of the target and causing target enemies above 25% health to take 100% of the damage taken as bleed damage over 20 seconds. Guardians wrath cannot be used again while this bleed persists.
    (*this goes for eternal/wild guardian.)
If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

see, this is the kind of class set design i wanted. not the utter crap we got. i'm actually annoyed about that still.

Make the bear available on a single bar. Nerf its damage, Then:

    Winter Guardian: Replace magicka morph

Activating an Ultimate on your other bar will also grant a snowy storm that swirls around your bear for 10 seconds that deals X Frost Damage every second.

This would make the bear less of a crutch and give it a great synergy with your other ultimate. It would also look cool alongside Sleet Storm or Icy Rage.

I have no idea why they stole damage passives from frost staff instead of making an alteration staff skill line for tanking. Pushing the frost=defensive thing in this game was silly from the beginning and really messed up what could’ve been a really cool skill line for warden.

simply because its a ton more work for probably not a lot of return.

Magicka tanking could cost $49.99 plus tax duh.

I've been trying out more classes and there are some skills that would be so nice to have on a warden.

Skills that yell (please let us be on a Druid Class aka Warden)

    Sorcerers
Crystal Fragments : but with an aoe splash / possible status effect attached or heal morph
Hurricane (but with a healing aura morph)
Lightning Storm (but with a healing rain morph)
Imp Pet : but a fairy (nixad), or some indrik that heals and has a heal aura

    Arcanist :
Group Shield + Heal (but vines & flowers)
    Tentacle Arm : but vines & earth/rocks
Portal : (frozen gate with warden being able to move too)
Gibbering Shield : but all earth/frost/forest
Fatecarver/templar ray : but its "ley line" energy, so elemental looking

    Dragon knight
Ember (the one that heals while damaging) but earthy animation or lightning strike
Cinderstorm : turn the black ash into lightning bugs and night time forest ambiance
Whip-Leash thing (vines but allowing the warden to move to the enemy/move enemy to warden & morph would be to ally/heal
Leap / Charge / templar charge : instead of dragon wings it would be eagle wings or a pile of rocks lifting/smashing down with the warden

    Templar
Solar Barrage : but with stars, fireflies, embers, petals from all 4 seasons swirling around
Jabs but with thorns, lotus petals, flower debris
Spear Toss but with ice or wind

there are so many, just base-type skills, not even counting the effects of them but the technical aspect of them, that would be really nice to update the warden with.

Ideally, in my dream world, i'd love to see the Storm Calling line, Earthen Heart, Green Balance, Winters Line and even the templars aedric spear / dawns wrath skill lines combined, would make for an amazing class theme/aesthetic.

    all 4 seasons, 4 elements.

Also, sidenote, where's the butterfly skills? Why does Sheogorath only get that butterfly-teleport and all that pink/purple magic? :(
