100% true, especially in PvP now that their shield has a heal attached to it. PvE stamsorc has best DPS. Fun and versatile class too. I think they should buff all classes to be as good as sorcerer, then maybe all other classes would feel fun too.

Personally I main Necro because the theme, reanimate blastbones ultimate, and the corpse system is interesting and fun. Unfortunately, we have the lowest DPS and are the worst in PvP too. The new GLS is a start to making the PvE DPS better though. Hopefully more good things come soon.

Clownomancer, will stick with it until they figure it out.

Stamina nightblade ever since beta, do just about everything except I use a magicka sorcerer as my main crafter because it was just easier when starting out to split them due to lack of skill points. My nightblade has long since researched everything and has plenty of unused skill points but I still craft on my sorcerer out of habit and gear him up with coward's gear and ring of the wild hunt to zip around the crafting stations.

my main is a DK, but i usually use him for first time questing, crafting, and general use

in terms of characters i play, depends on the content im doing

if i want high dps: stamplar or arcanist
if i want decent DPS but fun build: mag dk
if i want to pvp in cyro: my stam NB
if i want to IC: stam warden WW
if i want to tank: either stam necro or mag warden
if i want to experiment in IA: hybrid necro
if i want to be stealthy and fast for thievery: mag NB
if i want to heal: mag sorc

When I first created my main on launch day everyone said that Orcs were a great race. And rumor was that sorcerers were a great class. So naturally I created an Orc Sorcerer. Not exactly the best combination, but I just couldn't bring myself to delete it and start over. To this day I still play this character as my main, however I have since created more toons that are better well balanced.

Stamina Nightblade is my main. I play him in PvE doing base game dungeons and the occasional normal trial. I have a necromancer too, but the Nightblade is still my favorite.

A ton of them are probably more casual, which you won't find on an by invite dedicated forum

You only see many because they are flashy. In reality the class is very boring since it only has one DPS-Specc and can only use a limited number of skills in a very specific order due to their classmechanic.
Imagine playing your character and not being able to use any of the weapon-skilllines because you only have 1 skill that generates the resource you need for all your other skills. Thats Arcanist for you.

I have other classes but I use mag Oakensoul on every character and with only 5 skills they fill up quickly with: Wall, Vigor, Inner fire, Weakness to elements... There's just space for 1 class skill which usually ends up being an AoE or heal.

That's the baseline for my alt characters.
I prefer my main Warden since can swap Vigor for Wind, Weakness for Fissure, alternate Inner Fire with Wasps if needed, and have another solid AoE in the icy spikes.

Love my 2 Wardens so much it makes me desire to just class-change all my alts XD

I soloed the entire Main Story line all the way to the end with a Level 20 Redguard Dragonknight using a Fire enchanted Greatsword and one ability that does damage and healing. I had about 40 Soul Gems and only used about 10 to recharge my weapon. Mannimarco got the boot as well as Molag Bal. Easy as candy. I made this run on the game in 2 days as I really wanted to get to the end to see what it was like. I just don't understand why the end of the Main Quest is so easy and the end of DLCs like Orsinium are so hard. It took me forever to figure out a strategy for the Orc King and his mother. I finally won that but compared to Mannimarco and Molag Bal it was like having your worst nightmare.

I mostly do endgame PvE and NB's suuuuuck, but I can't stop playing it. Though it frustrates me a lot that I have to use my keyboard like a piano and still do low damage with high uptime % and perfected raiding gear.

I did a vDSR group on Telaria and while my dummy parse is 110k, I only did like 65-70k (with full golden perfected relequen, gold 2xlight kjalnar, double charged pillar of nirn (with golden jewels) and golden infused perfected maelstrom). Arcanist beam goes brrr.

Mainly playing Arc for trials dps or DK. For healer playing warden, NB, arcanist or maybe templar.
My original character is a NB so doing quests and events on her.
Mainly PVE.

Even before there was a Warden, I set up my first girl as close as I could get to the concept (i.e. storm ranger) even though she was a Sorc. And it worked extremely well for a good long while.

Nightblade and Arcanist, I'm simply trying to get them to 50 and then retire both. Necro = meh. The others, I enjoy to varying degrees. Templar was the second class I leveled all the way up (twice). But Warden has been my go-to since it was (finally) introduced.

PvE only. Not really a PvPer, although it does happen on the rare occasion.
