Even players who can move stuff can't re-move them unless they own the house--only the owner of the home can add or remove items. That's what makes this so mysterious, especially if they don't show up in the retrieve menu, in storage coffers, in bank, or in any character's inventory.

And just to repeat, even if she were online and in your house when it happened, it's impossible for anyone but the homeowner to remove items--there's no permission setting for that.

Only the person who owns the house can remove items from a house or add them (or some weird bug, of course). "Decorator permission" only lets someone move items, not put them in their inventory or otherwise remove the furnishing from the house or add any items to the house.

The most they could do was hide everything underground--but then they would show up when you use the Retrieve menu, and they would show up in the furnishing count in your house, which it sounds like they didn't.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's curious to see a screenshot of the retrieve menu and the furnishing limit and the spooky empty house, just for a visual.

Anyway--so curious to hear how this concludes! Good luck with support.

first sorry for the repeat didn't see the 2nd page tab. Second @ZOS_Kevin they have reached out to me in a few emails but they aren't really saying much ofher than giving me new people too talk too and one said he can't help so he bumped me up to the next person. He asked if I needed only a few thing he could give give back and when I responded he never got back too me. So I'm still being hung in the air here. It is effecting my game play big time here lol. As for them getting to me today I'm not sure that will happen. They always seem to talk towards the end of there customer service hours. My faith in them is abit lacking at this point.

Having the same problem on EU.

    furniture-vanished_ravenhurst-eu.png

After setting house access to 'visitor' from 'no access' all furniture except 'collectibles'+'special collectables' vanished. What I did today in detail, 20240324, Ravenhurst, EU:

1: Ported to the house; F5>R: changed access from 'no access' to 'visitor'.
2: Called up the guestbook (maybe some new entries? :))
3: Traveled on to one of my other houses, remembered I wanted to move an item in Ravenhurst; ported back to the house. All the furniture except for the 'collectible'+'special collectable' category was gone.

I have already worked through the solution steps from the en-forum on the subject of the invisible grandmaster smithy - to no avail. I renamed the house yesterday, in case, this matters.

This is how it looked before, overgrown with grass:

Edit #2: After 5 hours, the furniture is back with no effort on my side. Will it disappear again and, most important, where had it been to and what had it seen? *x files music*
