As a magsorc that's running only two non class abilities, I feel like scribing is going to be useless for me.... and considering we don't know fully how it works and it's limitations yet, I'm just going to dream and say I want an ult version of magelight since it's impossible for me to fit it onto my bar as a normal skill.
I heard from a user on the forums that apparently zos was wanting to introduce the crux system into more classes?

With how customizable the system is supposed to be, I'd wager if Zos was already wanting to do that, they might make "generates crux" and "consumes crux for extra damage or effect" as an option when making skills with scribing. I don't think it's super likely, but I mean... It's possible and would be a neat precedent. Of course without the proper implementation it would be an effect that only benefits Arcanist. But they could have other options that benefit specific classes, like generating corpses for necro.

- Shred it would be an untargeted gap closer for Werewolves kind of like streak, maybe the effect is greater based on how much health the target has remaining.
- Bats Would call fourth a swarm of Vampire Bats that applies a DOT to the target, what it does is up to the player, this skill would be different from other Grimoires in that it's cost would be effected by your Vampire stage like all Vampire skills.

Judging by the customizability, it might be possible to make ult skills, as well as passive bonus skills or skills with long durations. I didn't actually think about the possibility of Scribing letting us make ult abilities, actually. It'll be really interesting if we can, and judging by their whole customization touting, I'd be surprised if it's not an option.

If you look at what was described, scribing on launch will be 1 active skill for each weapon, world and guild skill line that have active abilities currently - excluding things like dark brotherhood, thieves guild, vampire, and werewolf (as far as we know). There is zero mention of customizing passive skills or creating new ultimate abilities.

I'd love to have a blue and gold themed arcanist 😁
