A plea from Australia - maintenance times

As an Australian I'm quite happy with the maintenance times. 10pm allows me to get 2 hours of game time in after work. It was also a pleasant surprise to see maintenance moved to Thursday instead of Friday.
I'm hopeful this two day a week downtime schedule is temporary, and incidentally it's nice to see they are hard at work improving the game.

Maintenance is fine now - they moved it off our Friday night primetime and I'm happy with that.

Bethesda/Zeni are located in the EST time zone and start server maintenance when their work day starts.

EvE daily maintenance at 12:00 every day. just incase you would like to see one do it more than twice a week

I am from guam and have the same time as Australia, maint. times are 10pm for me which is fine, I work all day and get a few hours in before I go to bed. Other mmo's I've played did this at 7 or 8pm which is really our prime time. It is inconvenient but maint. is a necessity we will all never be happy, no matter what, the times they have now are the most convenient overall.

2 hour difference does make a difference in NA because eastern time is not the only time zone. Changes would affect more players negatively then they would affect positively. They have shifted the times around quite a bit due to whining on the boards, honestly they should have left them alone from the start.

It's funny, I have quite a few aussies and new zealand players in my guild that have no issue with these times.

Now that the maintenance is on a thursday I don't really have too many problems and being in WA maintenance starts at 8pm. You know what, I'm sure that there is something else you could do during those times. Aussies always get the short end of the stick there will be no way that is going to change in the future, Even when we get the NBN thats not going to change anything.
