Please move the maintenance time back 2 hours to 10am EST.
Currently the sever goes offline at 10pm Australia time (prime time gaming)
I dont mind maintenance, just wish it was 2 hours later.
Does 8am or 10am make that much difference in EST?
Insulting people on the internet is cowardly.

10pm is not "prime time" gaming. 10pm is bed time for most working australians.

It probably does, because maintenance can last up to 4 hours. A 10am start time would run to 2pm, which is getting late in the day when people get out of class.

Plus they probably want to keep some consistency with office scheduling for maintenance, having it on the EU and NA servers at the same time on different days.

Most people who aren't NEET would be in bed by 10 or 11pm on weekdays. So no.

Be glad it isn't blizzard or swtor, their maintenance typically starts at 8PM AEST. Now that would be prime time.

Sorry but maint. times is not scheduled for your personal convenience. The vast majority of players play between 5p and 9p with some as late as 10p. For me my prime time is from 8a to 12 noon. maybe til 1p . As much as I would like to see the times change to better suit me, doesn't mean its going to happen.

Y'all complain about maintanence during Australian primetime on a Friday, they move it back to Thursday. You still complain. No matter what they do everyone is going to complain about maintenance.

So because 10pm-12am is prime time for you and your friends, they should cater for you with the server maintenance times?

It's 10pm....deal with it. You get to play tomorrow :) lol

It's always going to affect someone. And it is maybe what, 2 days out of a week?

More than just you are being affected. Just find something else to do. Watch a movie. Play another game. Read a book. Go to a bar ... all that stuff.

Because the maintenace times here in the US affect when I play. But I don't complain.

As an Australian, shouldn't you be used to this by now? Unfortunately we are not the majority. We don't even come close. We are an insignificant fraction in the overall statistics of paid subscribers and we should be lucky we can even play the game with something close to functionality using the string between two tin cans we call our National Internet Service.

(Although I hear our esteemed Prime Minister is making plans to upgrade that string to some sort of fancy ribbon)

No....just no. Oceanic pleas have already ruined it for us fat lazy Americans who liked to call in sick on Mondays. Now, you want to make it later in the day. I think it should go back to Tuesday mornings, so my lazy but can still take 3 day weekends!
    I jest.

Seriously though, that extra 2 hours would have a bigger negative impact on NA players than it would have a positive impact on Oceanic players.

No, prime time is when the server is most populated, it has nothing to do with where you are in the world.

Unfortunately for you, and your snarky comment, the OP was speaking about Australia's Prime Time, NOT server prime time.

"Currently the sever goes offline at 10pm Australia time (prime time gaming)"

The comment of "Its always prime time somewhere on the world." holds true in this conversation. Especially since the server does not go down for maintenance during "server prime time".

Lol, thats a snarky comment? You're delicate.

Anyway, server maintenance is based around SERVER prime time. Any talk of other 'prime time' is nonsense.

Its possible that changing things for a few hundred ozzies who play at the cost of inconveniencing the thousands of NA who play is just not in ESO best interest.

Someones going to have to bite the bullet for downtime. I'd like to play before I go to work but down time impacts me too. Regardless of when it is it's going to affect someone.

    My suggestion:
Just throw another shrimp on the barby and watch your baby so some dingos don't eat it.

I'm going to echo most of the sentiment in the previous responses and say "no". I live on the East Coast of the US and to be brutally honest, I'd rather that they began server maintenance at 6am ET. 3am ET would be even better.

I am used to losing a night of playing being in Asia, but 2 nights is stretching it. Is the game so broken that it needs 2 patches a week? Maybe the game should have been actually beta'd with actual beta testers........

Perhaps a server for southeastern Asia would do the trick? About the 1/3 world population do actually lives there!

I honestly don't care. Lets me get on with life outside the game. Twice a week is the most I've seen a server come down regularly for an mmo though.

Only mmo I remember us having our own server for was Star Wars the Old Republic but that ended up being closed down and merged with the server in LA. Was great to do operations on low ping while it lasted though.
