Don't bother with the article. The information in there is woefully incomplete.

The short answer is, there are 4 different style pages dropping in this event:

• The new Bristleback Hunter pages
• Three old pages from previous events:
  • Legion Zero Vigiles (originally from Imperial City Celebration, later returning during Whitestrake's and now again during this event)
  • Maelstrom Arena weapons (originally from Orsinium Celebration, later returning during Year One Celebration and now again during this event)
  • Old Orsinium (originally from Year One Celebration)

Like almost all events from the past couple of years, the rules for the drops are as follows:

• The first page you find each day will always be the new Bristleback page from this event. Once you get this page, you are placed on cooldown and cannot get another Bristleback page until the next day. (Each "day" resets with ticket/quest reset.)
• All subsequent pages will be one of the returning pages from previous events. There is no cooldown on these pages.

So what does this mean for players?

• If you are mostly interested in fishing for the new Bristleback page, then once you get your Bristleback page for the day, stop opening event coffers and save them for another day.
• If you are mostly interested in fishing for the old returning pages, then it makes sense to build a large stockpile of event coffers and then open them all at once, to maximize the number of coffers that you can open after you got that day's daily Bristleback.
• The source of the coffer doesn't matter; an Orsinium coffer has the same chance at getting an Old Orsinium page as an Imperial City coffer, for example. So just farm the kinds of boxes that you want to farm; you don't need to actually run Maelstrom to get the Maelstrom pages (which, yes, is counter-intuitive and stupid).
