My point is that over the years ZOS had plenty of opportunities to bring some other NPCs from the base game back.... and they didn't. I mean we had Murkmire and Blackwood and not a single Argonian returning from the base game, even if it make perfect sense. I mean I am seeing this pattern being repeated over & over and ZOS tends to stick to only handful of NPCs regardless the content they are adding.

Admittedly I could do without Mizzik Thunderboots and Fennorian, but at least we don't get Eveli. That's something at least.

Now if they'd just let us kill Fennorian and Mizzik, that would be a reason to truly celebrate.

I do like Fennorian (and slightly dislike cat in boots), I just hope he has a good reason to be there. Not like Razum-dar in Galen who was just there because... Razum-dar.

For this particular instance, probably because we’re nowhere near Black Marsh or anything Argonian/Hist related. And a lot of the existing Argonian NPCs don’t really have a viable reason to go wandering either. EX: The major Murkmire NPCs are either dead or helping run the new town. But we’ve see Seeks show up a few times now and it’s not out of the question one or more of our DB Argonians show up in the future. Maybe the guy from Mazzatun could pop in again.

I acknowledge it’s too early to be sure it will be 100% Eveli-free, but I consider this to be extremely good news for the new Chapter.
Hopefully, by the time we see her again, ZOS will have figured out how to let her have her character develop and keep it outside of the zone it was introduced.

I honestly found that part sounding rather laughable. There's a jungle at the border of the great primal jungle* Valenwood? The shock!

A lot more people liked Eveli as she was in Wrothgar, not the simplistic parody of her in Blackwood.
We can just pretend Blackwood never happened since it's a one and done story with no overarching consequences lol

If it sprung up more or less overnight, yes, although the locals are probably expecting the source to be a a rogue Greensinger not a sparkly new Daedric Prince.
That would be a change, because he allegedly shouted it away from having existed in the first place, including in the past.WhiteCoatSyndrome wrote: »

But which timeline are we in? The one where he has already shouted away the jungle, or the one he hasn't yet?NotaDaedraWorshipper wrote: »WhiteCoatSyndrome wrote: »NotaDaedraWorshipper wrote: »WhiteCoatSyndrome wrote: »have a zone-wide mystery (‘Where did all this jungle come from?!!’) to solve.

I'm very much aware, I just found it funny the way they said itA jungle, near your Valenwood? It's more likely than you think!

I would trade in Fennorian for Eveli in a heartbeat. I really don't like how ZOS is forcing us to be buddies with the undead. It seriously messes with my roll play. All my characters adhere to the principle "the only good vampire is a dusted vampire".
Side quest or not, the way ZOS tends to force our characters to accept working with vampires is really annoying. Working with thieves and assassins I can generally RP around, but a vampire is a different matter entirely for virtually every character I play.
It's plain and simple bad writing when players are forced to work with vile monsters like vampires like it's the most normal thing in the world.
That's the reason I rarely do the main story of Rivenspire, Greymoor or Markarth/the Reach.
