Square Enix took 6 months to release the PS4 version of FFXIV V2, to a great response. They did so because they didn't want to release a half-baked product.

I presume ZOS' beta testing feedback is that ESO's console version isn't fully-baked yet. Delaying it isn't the end of the world and is far, far better than doing so in the half-assed way the PC version was.

I am still not 100 percent sure it is true till I see it officialy from zos...so who knows and honestly maybe it will be for the best if they did.

But seeing how it is all over the web now I doubt he faked it..not saying it is not false or rumor but op did not fake the pic it seems IMHO.

Good to se some empathy for console players :-)
But in my opinion they should delay if they think its necessary they don't really want to delay it cause that would be a big loss of money but if its not ready it is not ready so i am fine with that

That would not be good for wanna be console player who want to talk about the game but can not have playtime because it is not released

Well, for a start they could open a section for console players and have them post only there? But there are too many trolls and people with deep issues that have decided that the way to relax is starting countless "Plumber Ben reviews ESO:5" or other troll baits.

It doesn't trouble me, i don't get all upset cos someone bad mouths a game i like and i am pretty sure some 'haters' on the forum won't doom the game. If anything does this, it'll be the game itself.

Yes, and I posted other place that an delay was plausible, 6 months however is long at this point.
1-2 months and I would believe it with no problems.

They could delay this game for years, if it is good when it releases on consoles then I will play it alot. I'll just log some more Skyrim hours in the meantime.

If there would be a chance to bring pc characters to xbox one or ps4 at release i would already play it on pc but sadly it is not possible but there still a lot good games to let the time pass

I know it is frustrating to see those type posts when they are not constructive and they do nothing but incite flame wars….

Now hear me out this is just the way my lizard brain works…Don't go into those posts and give them more food. I mean posting an opinion is allowed...good or bad… and yes I agree if you do not have a sub you should not be allowed ( the console gamers should have a place to post)..But atm this is what we have. We have to make the best of it if we choose to stay.

I look at it this way , and this is just how I see it take it as you wish, I will post my thoughts and opinions and let it ride ( just like I am now)…back and forth and back and forth in a post that you simply know is a flame post is giving those type of posters the attention they need.

Smile and know you had your say stick to your opinion and realize that those non subscribers who choose to stick around and not play the game but want to troll on the forums….well it is sad and I feel bad for them, if this is all they have to look forward to.

Be vigilant in what you want but also be smart and let the trolls starve just a little they may move on to juicer hunting grounds…(wildstar is about to open fresh meat) …just a suggestion

You are 100% correct it is hard to weed past all the crap and we should have an area for it because those type posts are going to happen no matter what. It is like some unwritten law in the mmo universe lol.

But you have some very good posts and insightful in a lot of them. I just don't like to see good people get sucked into those types of troll wars. It is good to have people who stay on top of forum activity and petition the mods ...ECT... for changes that are needed. ( the no sub no post should be pushed hard imho)

Cooler heads prevail.

The delay of a console version frees up manpower to polish the PC version.

I'm going to point to the issues Beth had with Skyrim on Playstation (some on xbox) that games are sometimes harder to fix things on or put things on that PC. How long was it before Playstation got all the Skyrim DLCs and updates?

This game has plenty of bugs. Fixing them now rather than after a console release is probably a good thing. Honestly though...I am just as happy it is PC only now. No offense to the consoles (which I also have and play) but more people on the servers will make more issues.

However whoever they have in charge of PR and the release of info probably needs replaced because these things aren't being handled to mitigate damages.

PS4 and Xbox One will both have exclusive servers.
