    Where is this rumor coming from? The negate bug does not stop ballgroups.

    It ends staying power since it requires death to remove, and nobody has more staying power than a ball group running around a keep.

    Thing is; I find it very rare for natural negate users for the most part and it's become more prevalent with certain players and groups that do it on purpose, and that impacts more than ball groups

    I've been asking for ZoS to buff Sorc for a while, but this perma negate thing seems a bit extreme. lol

    Maybe dial that one back and instead...

    1. Major Prophecy/Savagery put on Lighting Form
    2. Cast time removed from Dark Conversion/Dark Deal w/ resource return being over time instead of burst.
    3. Ward needs a HoT similar to Arctic Winds.

    Those 3 things and its on par with the DK, Nightblade, & Warden.

    Anyone know if the fix worked? For some reason, I have my doubts. I just can't seem to "block" them out

    Hey all, just to update here, the fix is almost complete and we are currently planning to include it in the incremental patch on Monday, Nov 13.

    Hey Gina, glad to see that this was fixed in the patch notes today. Do you know if this fix will also correct the other effects that were persisting when their caster died? Like one particularly egregious one was the snare from Dark Convergence. If a bomber died the snare would persist on everyone who survived the attempted bomb. So, literally the exact same bug as will negate just a different effect.

    Edit: from limited testing over one evening; the answer appears to be yes, it is fixed as well
