Correct. Iirc, they give time for the dust to settle on the last update across all platforms. Zenimax tends to not take attention away from the most recent release.

What about the Sheogorad zone we never had ? Since Morrowind is free now, now's the time right ?

Sheo is in a lot of zone quests AND a major part of the Mages Guild storyline. A whole zone would be too much IMHO. I’d rather the Spiral Skein or Evergloam. Or more Apocrypha.

If I were to choose, I want a chapter that causes Sheogorath to become Jyggalag "The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymarch Chapter" all other Daedric Princes join forces to stop him. I think that would be the best 10th year story arc, in the end he returns back to his crazy self and we have to explain to him what happened, then get chickened.

We know he's never stopped, Jyg destroys the Isles and Sheo rebuilds it each time until ES4 when we finally break the cycle. If we get any Isles content it'll probably be a dungeon pack, one mania and one dementia. I don't think we'll ever see Jyg in person in ESO.

He's constantly hanging out at my faction's base in Cyrodiil, but I've never spoken to him or given him the time of day there. I'm still sore at him for making me choose what happens to Valaste. /scowl

I said Sheogorad, not Sheogorath. Sheogorad is the northern part of Vvardenfell the devs didn't have time to create back then.

Oops, you did. That would be a nice expansion to get someday, especially if we could swim between the many tiny islands without being devoured by slaughterfish!

    Or more Apocrypha.

Please no. I absolutely hate Apocrypha and Hermaeus Mora... I'd rather not go there ever again. I'd rather play a chapter related to Argonians than one in Apocrypha again (and I hate Argonians and go out of my kill to kill them them).

What I'd like to see is either Winterhold/Solstheim or maybe central Elsweyr.

Sorry, my bad! You know how these daedric princes have all these variations on their names and I forgotten that was the name of the region of islands north of Vvardenfell… to be honest, even now that I’ve looked it up I can’t recall much about that region from TES III, only swimming between rocks…

If my memory serves well there's Daedric, Velothi and Dwemers ruins there. In TES3 there's the fork of Horripilation & Staada too. Also it might finally means some drops get fixed in Morrowind DLC like Golden Lichen & 6th House Banner...

Me too. More new races please.

I hope the new race is something other than a human or elf like one. I want to create a character that's a harpy, a minotaur, or a senche raht.

Won't happen, its too much work to refit all the armor and costumes over a new skeleton. It's the whole reason why every race we can play right now uses the same rigging. Things are floaty because of the body weight sliders, but are overall the same across the board. The only thing that changes is the head of Khajiit and Argonians, their tails is a superfluous aesthetic with little impact.

if any race or subrace were to be added it would likely be:

      races
      - maormer
      - reachfolk
there's friendly characters from both races.

reachfolk would probably just look like bretons and have different passive skills which seems easy to add.
not a very different appearance sure but it would fit a chapter in cyrodiil or skyrim(if that is next) and would probably make reachfolk roleplayers happy.

and maormer are now way more diverse than they were in the base game with different skintones, eye colours, and they also got finned ears in Summerset.
they'd fit in most chapters as most have a coast.

      subraces
      - naga argonian
      - ohmes(-raht)
      - maybe dagi-raht( though they are much shorter than even the smallest bosmer)
      - maybe pahmar(though they are taller than the tallest altmer)
would fit in any future argonian chapter and a tenmar forest chapter respectively.

I don’t see any point in adding Reachfolk as a race — aren’t they just a separate group of Bretons, maybe with some Nord mixed in? I would rather have more customization options for the races we have, rather than add one which won’t even look different.

But I doubt that more races will be added, mostly because of armor etc., but also npc reactions, not that these even make sense now, polymoprhs and all that aside…

While I agree it will probably be Skyrim related, I’d rather get some more of Hammerfell filled in, or go somewhere exotic like Thras. Falinesti would be nice to see but I suspect if we do it’s going to be a ‘hub’ town in whatever Oblivion realm it’s currently stuck in - like the Hollow City in Coldharbour - and not a zone in and of itself.
      I hope there's a new race introduced..

I was going to say the same things. It does sound like Solstheim/Winterhold is a logical possibility even though we just had a Skyrim chapter a few years ago. Personally, I'd rather explore Bosmer or Redguards further, but I can see why they'd go Nord/Skaal this year.

According to what I’ve read they’ve descended from the same people. And it’s not like a Daedric or other entity transformed them. Sure, they’re a very different culture by now, but hardly a different race. As far as I know, only the Nords and Redguard came from elsewhere.

Well, I'm pretty much in favor of something Bosmer or Redguard, but since this whole 3 years or however long is called "Shadow over Morrowind" I guess I feel pretty much stuck with Dunmer for the duration. I almost could hope for the rest of Skyrim instead.... though that really doesn't appeal either.

So looks like maybe another 2 years where I won't get anything but exploration XP, wayshrines and skyshards, followed by antiquities.

      Maybe they'll surprise me....

I just hope they don't cut overland/story content any more than they already have...the new darling is EA which seems to be made for the Vet Trail Players when they are not running Trials...Necrom really wasn't an expansion like High Isle it was more like a DLC...I probably won't stay if story content gets another cut...it won't be worth my time or money

It's a good place for delves and dungeons, but like Solstheim, it has all of one village (Ald Redaynia) so there isn't anywhere suitable for a chapter hub city. Maybe Ald Daedroth? I suppose that Dagon Fel could be populated now, only for it get abandoned again for some reason by the 3rd Era.

Makes sense to me! Sorry, I didn’t mean to derail the discussion, I just would be really disappointed if a new race like that were the feature as I don’t feel it would add anything to the characters we can create or the way we play the game. Khajiit furstocks like Alfiq and Senche-Rahts, while not different races of course, could be an addition that changed how the game is played, but would require an unrealistic amount of work.

      (Edited for clarity.)
