Endless Dg quest completion -priority for dev

Sequence:
Went to Endless solo
Got quest
Friend messaged and added me to duo instead
Got x dungeon ending message for my solo dg

Left

Came back in
QUEST HAD BEEN AUTO COMPLETED -daily rewards waiting
Claimed rewards

Started what I thought was round 1 with my friend as a duo, thinking I wouldn't get reward at the end as the quest dude had glitched and given it to me early
The daily quest had vanished by this point
Realised when Maurder appeared we were actually on Arc 2

Before this...

Friend had left dungeon awhile ago, after doing round 1 with a different friend
He was sure it'd re-set
(He had left, but not pressed timer)

But no

Instead it auto skipped my arc 1, auto gave quest reward, and started us both at Arc 2

So we left...re-set dg to 1 and did that -no one likes an e ban lolz

But this is NOT GOOD for reasons I won't type since that's also an e ban

So please please fix this asap

So, your friend completed arc 1 with another person. And then invited you into their arc 2 instance, without realizing that it was still the old instance that they had with their other friend (unlike dungeons or trials, EA instances aren't destroyed when the group disbands; this is why an hourglass exists to forcibly destroy and reset the instance).

And then because you entered an arc 2 instance, your quest that you had picked up from your instance auto-completed.

So it sounds like the part that's questionable is that your quest completed just by porting into an arc 2 instance, and I guess the quest progress is just tracking where you are in the archive, instead of tracking an actual boss kill.
