L2P? When a single class has the most viable and easy way to escape any fight you think its balanced?
DKs have the best reflect spell in the game (multi target). They also have the best roots, the only chain pull that works on players (pull off walls is OP), and the best self heal (Dragon's Blood.)
Night Blades have the best single target damage abilities, the best summoned pet, the ONLY in combat stealth ability, and the best resource management options.
Templars have the best damage against blocking targets (Sword and Shield counter), the best group damage and call target mechanism (Backlash), and the only healing abilities outside of the Resto staff (allows for two offensive weapons while also healing.)
The classes are DESIGNED TO BE UNIQUE. The fact that this ability is available to only one class HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH BALANCE.
And BTW, NBs have just as good of escape mechanisms as Sorcs.
I don't know who you guys are fighting, but healers might as well have a "hit me now" sign over their heads. If I see a healer, I'll charge them regardless of the situation. Putting a little pressure on them often makes them fall apart. That said, if the healer / DK combo gets threatened, they'll still end up dead, and neither of them will vanish to the other side of the field during the next 10 seconds. So, you're waiting for what now? Since you didn't say what heal you're casting, and if you're a Sorcerer using Restoration staff heals then Surge does increase the power of your heals.

Uhhh... You can still hit the healer you know, it's like TF2, stop shooting at the damn heavy and murder his medic first. It's not about being able to spam a single ability, it's about being able to escape anything with little effort. The difference between a healer spamming heals and a sorc spamming BE is that you can just kill the damn healer, but you can't kill the damn sorcerer no where near as easily.

I get fickle that way (I do)... that's why I need to be nerfed... not because I can keep the biggest AoE alive for a break in without sneezing at my power or keep an entire siege group alive without sweating... but because I might insult your manhood and run away... leaving them to die... 24+ people you got to kill because you spooked me... I see your math.
I do what I can do with power because I wear a dress and so proud of it lift my 7 piece skirt to you every time you rage ant my bright shining balls of escape... unless your decent then I likely die and just get up and come back with more friends...

The argument is that escaping with BE is too easy, the cost is just one of the solutions, you can change and balance BE without ever touching the cost.

Why is this relevant to the discussion? This is just basic combat, we are talking about escaping mechanisms, not how team combat works and how it's balanced or not.

It's too easy to escape, thats why you need to be nerfed, nothing else you say is relevant to the discussion, again, we are talking about escaping mechanisms, not how team combat works and how it's balanced or not.

- spells costs too little and needs to be increased
- Spell is too spamable needs CD or cost increase
- BE = never die
Show you how every class/role has spammable, less expensive abilities that actually lead to your death, as opposed to not killing you and fleeing, so you then go for argument #3. Tell ya how much we die, you just say it's a lie. Every counter discussion is about personally discrediting anyone who tries to explain or show you the flaws in 1-3 above.

This discussion has been a waste, since Sorcerers ignore that Bolt Escape has no hard counters and instead argue nonsense like being able to spam Regeneration as being at all the same as being able to engage and disengage at will. Every time a Sorcerer posts counters it just shows how overpowered Bolt Escape really is, when the other classes literally have to build EVERYTHING about their character around mobility to not even be able to get close to the same results as slotting one ability on your bar.
