Crafting Motif 120 Scribes of Mora

Does anyone know if you can also get these Motifs from opening the Trophy Vault Chests from the Keys after main Boss. I know there is other goodies you can get plus Secret boss but not sure about the Scribes Motifs. Thanks!

Yes, they can come from the vault chests as well. I got a few that way.

At least, I can confirm them from the large chests. Haven't tried the small ones.

There are three places where the motif drops.

Final boss of the dungeon: guaranteed drop on vet HM, a lower chance a regular vet (around 50%?), and a very low chance in normal
Trophy vault chests: approximately 1 every 20 purple/vet keys (we saw 26 motifs drop out of 500 purple keys)
Trophy vault secret boss: We saw 2 motifs drop out of 25 kills of the secret boss

There are actually a lot of goodies that can come out of the vault chests. In addition to the small chance at a motif, there's a small chance at furnishing items (including some rare ones that are worth quite a bit of gold) and gold improvement mats. Since the kartoklepts are quite easy to find once you have the map, it's really not a big hassle to take a minor detour to kill them every time you run the dungeon, just to see if you can get lucky with the vault.
