Crash since U39 with Antiquity, error 318

Hello, since update 39, when I want to excavate antiquities, I get disconnected server with error 318 like screenshot.

Thinking it was related to the addons, I deactivated all my addons by clicking on "OFF" but the bug continues, I crash when I do my excavation so I can't finalize it.
So I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem or if other players also have this problem.

I don’t have the update yet (on console) but for me the antiquity mound had a yellow glow to it, not blue. Was there a visual change or has it always looked like that on PC?

This may not be relevant but I was curious if there were additional changes.

The glow has always looked blue to me (on PC).

@ZOS_Kevin I am at my wit's end, I have tried everything I could. Playing with no addons doesn't help either. I am unable to use a feature of your game, can you please give us something? My internet is perfectly stable (hard line btw) I have zero issues or disconnects with other games. My settings are maxed, no edits done to the .ini either.

System: 11th gen i5-11600k, gtx 3070. W11 64. (happened with W10 too). I mean, I don't know what other info I could provide that's relevant.

I'm not alone!

I've had this problem for a while now. I would consistently get the 318 server boot. Every. Single. Time.

No, it's not related to addons, as I too have been able to reliably reproduce the problem even with all addons uninstalled.

However, fear not, there is a workaround for this, @Shagreth !

After you interact with the dirt pile and the screen shifts into excavation mode, take your hands off your keyboard and mouse and do nothing. Wait about 15 seconds. And then proceed.

I haven't been disconnected since I started doing that (though I will occasionally forget to wait, in which case I will be greeted by a disconnect in short order).

So it would seem that the problem is that starting to immediately work on the excavation causes the server to erroneously flag your activity. Waiting a short period of time after entering the excavation screen and before doing anything will reliably avoid this disconnect.

Thank you for this! I am going to try it as soon as I can after work. This does seem a little troubling though, it certainly isn't widespread, otherwise the forums would be exploding (even if antiquity wasn't very popular) but why some people have this.. are our accounts perhaps permanently flagged or something? Could it be because of addons such as TTC or ATT? These are the ones (maybe) that tend to spam to get info all the time. No matter, it doesn't seem to be our fault, so, please @ZOS_Kevin please give us some info about this.. we are in the dark.

And I can confirm, waiting for ~15 seconds prevents the crash from happening.

This very same bug happened to me three years ago a lot of times. When they were released this system.

So this keeps happening, I was able to excavate 4 antiquities without issue and assumed that the problem was resolved, nope, still crashing unless I wait ~15 seconds. Makes the weekly endeavor for 20 antiquities pretty frustrating.

@ZOS_Kevin Any word about this? Thinking of leveling antiquity on my new alt, but having to wait for 15 seconds each time is going to make it a nightmare, in a way I'm forced to spend 3000 crowns for this.. or wait for a fix.

p.s. I normally wouldn't want to level it, since I have an antiquity main, but the treasure chest passive is especially useful for dungeons. Some feedback there, that passive should have been in legerdemain or something.
