Inventory Space!!

Even with ESO+, Inventory space is starting to suck. I dont want to decon Gold items I have just to get transmute back. Please add some type of inventory space. You could add more coffers to purchase through writs, add a new vault through housing ( each house has 300 item vault for purchase ~1200 Crowns or 500K Gold or any amount at this point) or some type of space at this point weather it be adding 2 more tiers for bank space and character space, I mean we are closing in on 10 years, what worked 10 years ago dont work today!!!!! Please consider this as im to the point of just leaving the game rather than try to fit the new incoming gear of all weights into the limited bank/character space we already have. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Icy @Anyone who cares about this.

I'm an eso+ member and paying exclusively for the exra space.

Please, please in the name of Stendarr Zeny have mercy on our souls!

I understand you want us to pay the eso+ subscripton but if we are doing it let us play.

I'm a 3000cp player ammassing tings since beta... i'm sure at this point i can avert the coldarbour planemeld by simply trowing my bag in a random anchor and pluggind all coldarbour.

I can understand making the crafting bag and double bank/bag space only through ESO+, otherwise maybe 5% of current subs would continue. However even with them adding non combat pets that add 5 spaces per toon that make almost zero noticeable difference they could add new types of storage weather it be the mentioned above or something other and people would conform at this point to actually feel like they get ahead on bank/bag management.

This is a never ending and mostly player created problem. We were given more space and were happy for a while. Then we filled that space and wanted more. We got more space again and again we were happy. Then we filled that space. Now we want more space and if we get it even if it is 1,000 more pockets we will fill it up and want more.
I've got two accounts and over thirty characters and I still want more space. It helped me a bunch when I sold master writs I couldn't complete I was holding onto in case I got the motif. Also unloaded all kinds of siege equipment I kept in storage chests and never remembered to take with me to Cyrodiil.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

We are closing in on 10 years, the miniscule addition over the last 4 years have done nothing to improve the QoL when it pertains to inventory, Some dont want to decon stuff because in 2 years it may be relevant again, or just need space for things they want to hold onto. I think a solution could easily be added but here we are struggling between space and destroying stuff.

I wouldn't mind if it was easier to get transmutes - say, 50 for the daily random dungeon. Or even 10 for each run. If that were the case, I would dismantle everything I'm saving "just in case". Or maybe, make it so once you've transmuted something, you won't have to pay to resummon it, and can resummon it at whatever rarity you dismantled (glances at gold jewelry). Or the house bank, that's a really good idea as well.

Storing things on alts is a pain, and it's not like it's saving server space - they're still stored.

I really hope the endless dungeon has transmutes as a reward.

I guess many problems with inventory are solvable with ESO+ and some self-discipline on the player side.
Anyway it would be great to see some additional space for player's gear like mannequins or armory station inventory.

Armory station could keep all the gear for saved builds.

Mannequins could keep one full complect of equipment (7 armor, 3 jewellery, 2 pair of weapons) and be limited as a separate category of furniture in the house. For example 1 for room, 2 for small house, 4 for meduim and 10 for manor.

Give us a few thousand Off Line Storage Slots. Kind of like the Guild Banks are.

Wont bog the servers down as it will only accessed on demand, not "carried around" like our regular inventory or the crafting bag.

Never had any issues with inventory space while on ESO+. I can't even imagine how you can fill out so many slots.

It would give me a ton of inventory space just by removing the cap on transmute crystals so I didn’t have to fill all my bags with 25-transmute burner gear. Why is a currency taking up so much bag space!!!!!

Between that and siege gear/treasure maps not stacking, you could make a sizable improvement to this issue. Heck, sell an infinite furnishing bag or gear chest! As of right now, the player has no options!

I play all roles, pve and pvp, on my main character, and with 215 slots I can barely carry the usual mainstream gears. I need more, and another crown pet just isn't enough.

Totally agree. More inventory space and storage places needed. Plus I never understood the limit on transmute stones. It makes no sense at all.

Agree, although specifically I think we should get shared bank and per character inventory space upgrades.

I'm given to understand from my DPS friends that they have a much easier time of it, but being a tank or healer is rough carting around all the set options you might be asked to wear, or letting them eat up shared bank space. In my opinion load screen hops to grab gear from Housing or a mule are not ok when 3 or 11 teammates are waiting for you.

And I actually have a lot of space on my mules but I'm in rough shape for items that need to be quickly accessible or shared between characters. This is not a player- made problem... ZOS is the one that keeps pumping out sets and introduced hybridization! And now we are getting class specific sets! And then there's companion gear...

    Definitely need more space.

    I fully agree.
Every chapter adds lots of new items - however the inventory space does not increase. Really the only solution is to sell or destroy stuff you initially did not want to sell or destroy. That's not a great way of inventory management.
(For housing items, I just throw them somewhere, just to clean up inventory space. That's awful. Luckily, I don't have to sell/destroy them.)

Yes and no. If we didn't have new sets and other items coming out frequently then it'd be manageable. However I'm a support player in trials and dungeons which means there's an ungodly amount of gear that I must bank in order to meet the requirements for various groups. Throw in other things that must be stored like treasure maps, crafting surveys etc and the current space evaporates quickly. If ZoS keeps bringing out new items then they need to give us additional space to store them.

Honestly? The storage chests in homes could productively carry 300 and 600 instead of 30 or 60 items.

Getting tons of new set items and furnishings every other update but no new storage space for it is hardly player created.

So, I don't have ESO+. And I dont have any problems with inventory space. I just sell the junk and decon when it's made of something valuable.

Seriously, most dropped stuff in this game is worthless. Why would anyone keep stuff that will be as useless in a year or two, as it is today? Just because it is shiny?

And mule accounts are quite easily set up and cheap to acquire. For example when the base game is on sale.
Each mule account can store up to 2240 without spending a single crown on additional character slots or the inventory pets. You know, the pack rat, the boar and the other one I always forget. Or writs vouchers for an additional 360.

A totally maxed out account without ESO+ can store in up to 4900 items slots.
    How is that not enough?

You could create 10+ new accounts, make 5 guilds for yourself, and write down all your new lvl3 chars and accounts and where you have everything stored. Like 1 guildbank for masterwrits, 1 account for really expensive stuff you might want to sell one day, 1 account for furniture...

This way ZOS is happy about the 10 new players for their quaterly whatever, and you can feel like an accountant every time you are looking for something. Everyone is happy and you have plenty of space on your primary account. And don't forget to buy the packrat and friends (in the crownstore) for the extra 15 inventory space on all your chars.

Couple things here - definitely think that we should be able to purchase more inventory and bank space and have an uncapped limit on transmutes!

However. I do think holding onto an absolute insane amount of materials is silly and you should just sell them - gold can be used for more than an excess of materials sitting in your bank or craft bag - just my opinion of course! :)

Not sure how everyone else is doing but I am still needing some extra inventory space, I would just like any type of relief. With all the new addition to the game and we seem to only get the non combat pets that help us by storing 5 items which is kind of miniscule compared to the amount of items added into this game. I think adding more space to the player bank space is needed at this point, plus other additions weather it be more coffers from writ/crowns.
@ZOS_Kevin Could you give us insight on any plans that may be in the works on expanding player storage please??

The number of items steadily increases with each big update.
What really upsets, some of them are bound. Quite many by the way.
What is needed ASAP is some huge easily accessible furnishing storage, it is very inconvenient to use cheaper houses as furnishings warehouses.
Dear Zenimax, please, give us more storage, compare number of items, lets's say, 5 years ago and the modern number.

I wish each chapter would come with another bank space upgrade.
Or, reduce the number of different style materials. Let multiple styles use the same material. Make some styles use 2 different existing materials, if they want them to still be unique to each other.

if you're willing to pay and do some work buy 10 accounts on sale for 5.99 then create 5 guilds. now you have 2500 guildbank slots. have your main join a couple of those guilds. cost you 60$ plus tax when they are on sale.

It is inevitable that void fills up over time because void is a thermodynamic unfavourable and instable condition. It doesn't matter how big it is or how big the full space around is. You need to put energy into maintaining emptiness. That's simple physics... 😁

I warned zos about this like in 2020 maybe earlier. They came up with the sticker book. It wasn't enough to solve every problem, but it allowed us to toss out sets and not have to worry about refarming it if they decided to change it. Although to get transmute stones you have to go to a dungeon, so it was a win-win. I still play without ESO+ and don't have my inventory maxed out. However, I only make gold when I need it and throw out everything else. So I don't have any wealth in ESO. I am transient.

The problem is ZoS tosses too much stuff at us. That is to get the people to subscribe to ESO+. However, with every new chapter more stuff appears. This is how I knew even ESO+ members would start to have problems.

Some people have so much gold they can run around and buy out all the shops then sell at their price desired to make more gold. Luckily auction house doesn't exist because that would have ruined the economy 5 yrs ago. What ZoS did slowed it but it's still creeping up. Can't stop MM and TTC.

I play all my MMOs like they can shut down tomorrow. I don't think about amassing for a future that may never come. I live my life this way. I found hoarding to take up too much resources managing than simply running just in time. There should only be enough held to change a build 1 every 6 months. I don't follow meta because it's cheaper. I try to sell everything that I don't need. When my mail gets full I log off for 30 days to wipe it out, then come back in. The value of those items meant nothing if they didn't sell.
