✭✭✭✭✭No real go-to, usually matches the character. My main healer is wearing Gryphonheart, my main tank is wearing Breathless, and my main is wearing The Merciless though. None of which because it makes sense but because the titles sound cool and are achievements for each of them and also Gryphonheart for flexxing reasons. ✭✭✭✭✭Tamriel Hero for my main, I picked a stamblade for my first toon and had never played an mmo before. She went through hell and back before she could git gud, lol.
Countess for my first alt, because I love housing.
PvP titles for my PvP toons, only one Grand Overlord.
Stormproof for my trials toon, though I got it on my Oakensorc and it may have cost me the ability to ever do trials again from the strain to my hand.

Looking at my newer characters, it turns out I more or less did this too, although I didn't really do it consciously. The titles just seem to mean less when you can't easily keep track of which characters have earned which ones.1 -

My alt uses "Witch", because she is.
My main doesn't use a title because none of them fit her. I did use Grand Master Crafter for a few days when I got that achievement, was cool to earn that. But eventually switched back to no title again.
If I ever earn Godslayer I'd likely wear it, but if not I won't lose any sleep over it

aaisoaho✭✭✭✭✭My main uses Extinguisher of Flames, because I was the portal dd on her. My stamcro uses Bringer of Light, since I did use him to get the title. Other characters uses EoF, Bringer of Light or Shield of the North depending on how I feel the title would match the character.0 -
Vrelanier✭✭✭I use Witch when it's Halloween, but other than that I don't use them. I have no clue why I have gotten any of the titles that I have. Master Thief? I get caught all the time. Hero of whatever? I guess I did some quests there, once, 4 years ago. Maybe if they had a link in the titles list, to the achievement that brought the title, and then in the achievements there'd be like a picture collage of what happened during whatever it was that happened, then I'd remember but otherwise, no.
but I've always found the achievements and the achievements menu in ESO confusing (why are they not in alphabetical order?), and the vast majority of them are kinda meaningless. I wanna see the content, so ofc I'll help these people, but getting an achievement and a title for doing the basic thing feels like a participation trophy. What do I do with that? I put it in a box and hide it in the cellar where the little goblins that live there quietly take it away for their rituals, aka I forgot it there when I moved and the landlord never sent me a message about it. ...jeez I only now realise my landlord was a goblin. Eek.2 -

Other than that one, the few I've delbreately obtained have been Witch, Lady/Lord, Count/Countess, and Librarian. I got Master Angler for the boat, not the title.0 -

✭"Flawless Conqueror" on the character that got it first.
"Eye of the Queen" on my Altmer templar. The only title that actually reflects your role in the alliance questline.
"Spark of Vengeance" on my Dunmer nightblade. I dunno, I think it sounds cool, if a bit edgy.
"Dragonslayer" on my old Northman. Cause Skyrim.
"Daedric Lord Slayer" on my daedrically inclined necromancer. Couldn't find anything more appropriate.
"Mystic" on my arcanist. It just fits.
"Locksmith" on my thief.
I really like "Silver Knight" from vMHK as well, I used to have it on the aforementioned templar, with appropriately shiny armour to match (frozen blood dye).PC EU1 -
