Week 3 no jabs/sweeps update, will you play templar if this isn't buffed?

Yes - I will still play templar but use a different spammable

i already don't use sweep on my templars and whatever they changed about it doesn't matter to me, i already preferred other abilities.
i don't remember if i even have a spammable? i just use skills i think work and that i like

Yeah. I always hated the jabitty jab thing, I mostly use the Dawn's Wrath skills plus a weapon spammable.

I loved jabs. With the change to plaguebreak and now azureblight, my Templar is now retired from vet trials. Maybe one day she will come out of her crafting hub for something more than a fun run

Templar has been nerfed into uselessness in PvE and all but one specific mag build is useless in PvP as well.

I don't think templar is worthless in PvP at all. The outliers might be the top classes make templar seem worse than they are and meta sets that apply more status effects than you can purge

Still; I always liked templar for the spear. From my start in UO; I ran a spear and could heal myself. The aesthetics definitely are gone for jabs.

ZOS has read your comments and understands that 100% (probably more like 150% tbh) of the playerbase are big fans of the Nightblade class. They are happy to provide more buffs and are implementing them as we speak!

Finally, as a reminder, ZOS asks that in future all posters please pay extra attention to spelling. There has been much confusion about misspellings of the word Nightblade that some even seem to think "sorc" or "templar" is how you spell Nightblade. Crazy I know! Help is on the way Nightblade lovers aka the entire population of ESO!💪💯

i saw the original date for this thread was pre-u35, and i would have to say im still using biting jabs as my primary spammable, and that this toon is still my best dps toon and ive gotten several trial accomplishments done this year (vKA HMs, vSS ice and fire HMs)

You commented on this last year when I made the thread.
I bumped this because it's been a freaking year and it has actually got worse for jabs thanks to arcanist and minor evasion on everyone in pvp.

i honestly dont even remember commenting on it lol, but thats on me, i think i misremembered because i didnt actually vote on the poll at the time lol

if your mostly talking from a pvp perspective then i would agree its not great for a number of reasons (not "bursty" because its 3 separate hits so it procs stuff like maras which negates 2/3 of the dmg it deals, evasion buffs which got worse if enemies have an arcanist in the group, etc)

I used to voice my angst about the state of Templar on the forums (and got in trouble a few times), but the devs clearly don't care. I'm not going to waste my own emotional energy on it. I may take an extended break from the game. I don't have the time or inclination to being forced into another class because the devs have gutted my favorite class. I expect nerfs and meta changes, but this is going far beyond simple nerfs over so long of a period.

I wish I could edit my choice to the non-existent choice: "Take a break from the Game"
