About the new levels requirement for quests (like prologues etc)

So I was reading the patch notes again and I got really thoughtful. I really liked the idea of spreading some quests across levels for players, but if the goal is to make it less condensed and confusing for novice players, wouldn't it be better to use a higher level spacing?

I mean, some players might not even reach guild and prologue quests before level 6 or 7 in the current state of the game, and still get confused.

I think something like this would be ideal:

1) Story guilds quests (fighters guild, dark brotherhood, thieves guild and mages guild): lvl.10

2) A Room to Spare: lvl.18 - Along with the "Room To Spare" Housing Brochure that we receive upon reaching this level with the Level Up Advisor, and the choice of furnishing and the coffer. I think it makes more sense for everything to be released at the same time, the progress feels more natural.

3) Sorinne Gerard: Well, I wish this NPC was simply deleted from the game, it's terrible that players receive a Tales of Tribute quest without even having the DLC for it. HOWEVER, since that's not possible, I would also raise it to between level 10 and 15. It doesn't make much sense to me for any quests to be released before that as the progression is so fast.

4) Prologue quests: So these are the most confusing quests. Usually these quests require the player to travel the entire continent and this can be quite overwhelming for most new players. I would leave it at least at level 30, since at this level the player already has a little better knowledge of how to venture into Tamriel. I think that the REALLY ideal thing is for missions to be given only at level 50, but since they are an important selling point, I know that it would not be interesting for the company to leave them so high. At the end of the day, I imagine that the player can still get these quests at any level in the crown store, so it would be pretty smooth for veteran players.

5) Craglorn: As for Craglorn, well, it's the hardest map in the game. I would put the quest to go there at a much higher level. like 45, I think the player needs to have a lot more understanding of what they are doing before going there.

6) Crafting Quests: Well, the crafting quests I think are the most harmless of all those described here, so I think that they are the only ones given before level 10 makes a lot of sense.

what do you think about this?

As long as it would be optional for the players that already have level 50 toons, I do not really care. I would prefer not to micromanage when I start something on an alt.

Yes, I know that we already have level restrictions for Undaunted and Cyrodiil, but since it affects the experience of other players (if someone too low level joins), then that is fine.

First base game and dlc main quest markers need different colors, if daily quests can be turquoise then why not a topaz yellow for dlc/chapter quests? Secondly add a spoiler toggle in the menu options that shows where quests lead to before you accept them, they could show the dlc/chapter coin next to the quest intro dialogue.

    This is very reasonable.

sorinne is in the tales of tribute story quests so she won't get removed from the game.
there's tales of tribute npcs to play with in nearly every zone so she's not exactly out of place.

but what would be better if she only appeared in zones that introduced new decks which is currently high isle, galen, and telvanni peninsula.

I still think a bulletin board would have been better. Quests could be well categorized and explained what they are before you tear off the leaflet and then that would activate the related NPC in the city.

Take them all, take one or two, whatever you like. Also having the bulletin board compass marker being a different colour would make it easy to ignore if you like.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I wasn't speaking literally, my problem with it is that players without the expansion can start the Tales of Tribute quest even without having the expansion, and end up not being able to move forward precisely because they don't have the expansion. I find that kind of strange, they can put this NPC to appear only for those who have High Isle, you know?

I mean, they already do that with the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild in the Outlaws Refuge, u know?

I 100% agree with that, but since they came up with a system already, I thought it would be better to adapt that system to be more novice friendly.

The big issue here is that, from what I see, ESO ends up scaring off many novice players because of its magnitude.

And every time they try to make it better they flop. The new intro with the portals, and now new level requirements which will be reached so quickly by a new player as to make practically no difference...

    i understand that it's annoying.
though it's kinda just like getting leads for antiquities that you cannot scry for nor dig up because you don't have greymoor.
probably supposed to be a way to get people to buy the chapters.

maybe she could go in taverns with tribute npcs
    i already said this though
"but what would be better if she only appeared in zones that introduced new decks which is currently high isle, galen, and telvanni peninsula."

but i kinda doubt that zos will change it.
as they do of course want people to buy the chapters
