How to Hard Counter an Arcanist
Got caught swapping skills / builds im testing around at the door in IC, by a fellow Arcanist. I have zero crit resist on build.
This is why Arcanist is useless in PvP.

We were the only action at that door.
The build is looking to burst every 8 - 10 seconds. GCD's dont mean anything on this build.
You can run arcanist in circles to counter their Ulti and beam. Dodge through them and two setps behind them, and you are out of the range of aoe around the Arcanist while they use they use their beam.

My NB, does not have all the passives, leveled skills, nor is it fully built. While my arcanist is for the most part fully leveled and fleshed out, with better sheet stats.1 -

Reengage. They now have no Crux up and no ultimate. If he had not dumped ulti, i would have turned, light attack and bashed. Arcanist entire kit is denied by moving to the side or out of range.you can strafe, dodge through, simply out run their beam. Every offense ability besides Blades and a *** DoT, are 100% useless in any kind of lag. Blades is easily dodgeable, with an extremely open window to dodge.
